I'm wondering if cohesive teams with clear team leaders are at an advantage going into week 1 if this lockout continues to drag on. Without the coaches, who pushes these athletes?
Can they get on the same page without some organization?
Do teams like Atlanta with a team leader like Ryan have a leg up over the Bears who dont have that same leadership role in Cutler?
same with Jags/Garrard over Tenny/???
how do new coaching staffs actually talk to the players about the new schemes, playbook, ideals?
Niners have new staff and maybe new QB (or at least a crappy one with Alex Smith) against a set staff in Seattle with a (old) veteran QB?
Colin Cowherd on ESPN did a piece on this and talked about the organizations who will have big advantages or disadvantages in a long lockout due to new QB's, coaches etc.
His analysis was that Indy got to play the most disadvantaged teams ie Tenn and NE got to play very few. One could likely find the podcast if so inclined.
