ok, this is pretty bad prob the worst officiated baseball game ive ever seen through the first few innings. please tell me that tag from third was a make up call for the pickoff on 2nd. umpire staring into center field on replay. unreal stuff.
It just got a lot worse...
Tim McClelland needs to be drug tested

But i think the umps can and will be questioned by the media for an explanation after the game. You think they will make it short and sweet and say" we blew them"?

Got to be relief umpires. No major league umpires can be this bad. Right?
If I'm Scoscia (sp) I'm for sure getting tossed.
1st of all this post season shows there definitely need to be some type of expanded replay system put into baseball. 2nd lets get rid of these old umpires who are lazy and don't get themselves into position to make a call and get some new young energy and eyes to upm these games.
I'm not a fan of baseball, but I tuned in last night because I had some bets on the game. I couldn't believe how awful the product was and what a joke the officiating was. That is not a way to win over fans.
I'd rather watch 8 year olds play soccer.
I'd rather watch 8 year olds play soccer.
custer, i know you have a lot of outs but who books 8 yr olds playing soccer? seems like draw/under parlays would be the nuts. also, slipping a goalie an ipod or x-box to "miss the ball" would clearly be +ev.
