Oregon - Auburn Point Spread and Total...

game played tomorrow ... oregon 6.5
closer to to -5
What team out there would have the lowest line with Oregon?
I don't have an opinion, but a very good question.

One of the things we're learning this season is that playing for the middle is the most profitable decision long term. Why would anyone bet the under in this game? Take the over at open and the under at kickoff. You could have a seven-point middle on the total.
Oregon would be favored by 3 IMO. The SEC's dominance in "The Big Game" is not lost on any saavy player. With that said, the majority's perception is that Oregon is the better team. I can see it opening at 3.5, but don't see it opening any higher (What the betting public does with the number once it's posted, I don't really have a strong opine). Love these kind of threads. Thanks John! Good luck, Paul
Have seen this posted at an off screen book. No total. Nickel max. Interesting dialogue here!
What team out there would have the lowest line with Oregon?
TCU would IMHO...I think Alf and sundown are spot on with 5 and 6.5. I just posed the question about where this game would open and close, not necessarily where the right number is...but Alf is spot on in that these last games will have as much as a 3 pt swing in terms of how the oddsmakers set up the national title showdown...
I think you guys are all way off on this. I'll be v surprised if Oregon is ever the favorite.
