OT- Going to Biloxi in August...

OT- Going to Biloxi in August... Posted this on the other new board as well. Going to Miss. for a wedding, and figured might as well include some gambling and see New Orleans for the first time. My friends all rave about Biloxi and New Orleans. The consensus is to stay at Beau Rivage, everyone here agree? How is the blackjack down there? How hard will it be to get my stay comped RFB? What are some fun touristy things (non-partying) to do in New Orleans? Also, are there fishing charters in Biloxi, I am dying to get into the gulf. Thanks for any input.
Ten-cent oysters in Biloxi the last time I was there. Insane. I got 36. Was a while ago, but with the current state of things ... maybe.
the beau isn't the easiest for comps but it is the nicest. ip, grand, hr are all ok. not sure whom you're with or what your skill level is. the dd isn't great but you can backcount shoes at the beau til your sneakers fall off. island view can be a bit heaty as can the grand.
I'm pretty well-versed in +EV casino gambling, and I will be by myself. If I sit down for a few hours and spread a break even game at high denominations are they gonna comp me my stay and some free grub? Maybe even send me a mailer or two? Thanks for the info. Also, how closely spaced are the casinos? Walking or driving distance?

you absolutely need a car. this is not atlantic city. there are 8 or 9 casinos w/in a few miles then island view is about 10 miles and there are two more in bay st louis (45 min or so)
