I think the move is iffy. It's not true that Belichick is one of those coaches that doesn't care. Pats went 0-4 in preseason last year but he was 33-18 ATS going into that, one of the best pcts among active coaches. Andy Reid fits the bill more than Belichick as a coach who does not put a priority on winning preseason. Reid is 14-26 career in preseason. Thinking must be that Brady will only make a token appearance and then you get the back-ups that have little experience for the bulk of the game.
