Pouncey

Pouncey How much difference does it have if Pouncey is able to start or not? Will it have any difference on any interesting prop bets?
Jets 19. Pit 0. He seemed to have had a small impact in the AFC title game....

If he plays and is significantly hurt, then I don't think it makes much of a difference. So, I'm not too worried about his status until I hear that not only is he playing, but he's completely healed, and I don't expect to hear that.

I thought the line looked surprisingly solid without him.

They also scored seven points on a fumble so really Pitt scored 10 without him. They chose to run the ball a lot in that game so looking at points only isn't probably completely correct.

I was looking earlier in the week at their stats on the first drive and after and I think they were still decent. Might be wrong on that. Question here is Pitt likes to pull their guards and if Legursky or an injured Pouncey are getting pushed back into the backfield by Raji, that could disrupt what Pitt is trying to do with their guards. Also, the Jets defensive line isn't nearly as good as GB's so even if they were effective against the Jets, they may not be against GB.

That's typical. So do most centers in the league. I think with the amount of time spent analyzing this game, too much is made of Pouncey. People completely forget that Pit scored all 24 points without him, and they had a better rush avg without him. I have (f/ my guy I use) a ton of info about things that have been overhyped and overblown in analyzing this game. Hell, it seems even Fez thought when Pouncey was hurt, Pit scored no more points. I mean, do these people watch the game? Or just listen to dumbass journalists who don't know squat?
