Preaseason Week 1, 273 Hou/KC OVER 35, 1 weight, Charlie Play

Preaseason Week 1, 273 Hou/KC OVER 35, 1 weight, Charlie Play I Agree. Another preseason week. Another winning total. Aok to play this OVER 35.5, as "35" is a dead number.
Missed the 35 with my books. Why is 35 dead?
Stations had 35 at 3 pm today, Venetian was only other place in town that I found it, and that was 6 pm.
All the TD only permuations on totals are dead numbers 28 35 42 49 Note, 28 and 42 are even deader since you can get the miracle 6 Tds 0 fg permuation, and STILL lose if the TDS break 3-3.

Curious to if you could elaborate on this a bit further. 3 TD's each would be 21-21 correct? How could you lose with 42? Are you saying possible missed extra point?
42 vs. 42.5 not much different This, often aok to play OV 42.5 on games that have moved up 1/2 a point on the total. But death to play OV 37.5 by contrast........death to Smoochie!!
Yes I understand what you are implying...I'm just trying to grasp why? A virtual example written out would be much appreciated. Thanks so much burg

Game will very rarely end 21-21. Chance of that has to be under 0.5%. Even if there is a 1% chance of 21-21 more than half will have a winner in overtime. That's why 21-14 is more likely than 14-14 or 21-21... Almost impossibilities. FGs are common. This is also why 17, 20, 24 are much more important 1/2 totals than 21. Sean
