Presidents Cup Singles Match 1: Hunter Mahan (-120) over Camilo Villegas
The most disappointing player in golf will end his year with another disappointment. Mahan is a money Sunday player and much more experienced in match play.
Match 2: Stewart Cink (-150) over Adam Scott
Ordinarily wouldn't lay this high price, but Scott has been out of whack all year. Perhaps he and Ana Inanovic have not been so good for each other. Cink should clobber him. Hopefully Scott isn't yet another captain pick who kills it on Sunday.
Match 3: Mike Weir vs. Justin Leonard
Dead even match. Likely will be halved. Both have been solid this week.
Match 4: Robert Allenby (-118) over Anthony Kim
Kim could easily win here due to his talent, but Allenby is more steady eddie and Kim is erratic. He'll be brilliant one minute and terrible the next.
Match 5: Geoff Ogilvy (+149) over Steve Stricker
Stricker has been great this week with Tiger. Tiger didn't carry him at all. However, this is a different animal. I'm getting +150 with the better player. Ogilvy hasn't been too bad either. This line is high b/c Ogilvy lost twice to the Woods/Stricker team.
Match 6: Sean O'Hair (+118) over Ernie Els
Els has probably been the best player on the Intl team this week (3-1 record). O'Hair is 1-2-1. However, this is such a small price for Els to lay, which gives me pause.
Match 7: Kenny Perry (-127) over Ryo Ishikawa
Perry has been destroyed twice by this guy in the foursomes and fourball. However, Perry is a veteran and is a grinder. Perfect spot for him to win here.
Match 8: Zach Johnson (-105) Over Tim Clark
Clark got hot at end of the year, but Johnson has been solid all year for the most part.
Match 9: Y.E. Yang vs. Tiger Woods
Not getting involved here. Yang could have a little value if the Cup is already wrapped up, but I don't think Tiger is the type to fade just b/c the team wins.
Match 10: Lucas Glover (+111) over Vijay Singh
Vijay has just not been Vijay all year. He'll end his disappointing year with a loss to the US Open Champ. I think Glover will rise to the occasion. This is validation for him to beat one of the game's best players on Sunday.
Match 11: Retief Goosen (+145) over Phil Mickelson
Cup is likely wrapped up at this point. Good value here on Goose off Mickelson's Tour Champ win and solid play this week.
Match 12: Angel Cabrera (+146) over Jim Furyk
Same thing here. Intls get a couple late points to make it closer.
