Quest. to Fezzik - derivative betting

Quest. to Fezzik - derivative betting Fezzik, I heard a couple of the newest podcasts with you and saw your writings in this forum on derivative betting. Favre made another comeback yesterday. How would you attack this betting wise? As far as I can see, the line has not been adjusted that much. Some places the week 1 New Orleans - Minnesota games has stayed unchanged, other places it has moved ½ to 1 point yesterday from 6 to 5-5½. I have no idea how the Minnesota season wins has moved, but I expect it to be the line that will move most (its off the board at Pinny and Greek right now). But if I understand you correctly - and if you have the idea that Favre is a better quarterback at age 41 than T. Jackson and Rosenfels, you would instead of Minnesota season wins and Minnesota plus the points in week 1, you would instead be looking into: - Total points week 1 (betting the over) - Minnesota team total week 1 (betting the over) - Adrian Peterson season carries/yards (betting the under) - other possible props???
IT's complicated here Pepperidge Favre is WAY over the Hill,NFL qbs experience precipitious declines as they approach 40, even Joe Montanas..... I think last year was a miracle and Favre will struggle this year. Having said that, I DID grab some Minny +6 week1 when the news broke. As for A.P., unclear since the D will no longer stack the line, so fewer carriers, but a higher avg carry. Note, Dallas DOES become a MONSTER bet early in the year to get their revenge vs. the classless Vikings and the beating and score run up Favre put on them in a playoff game. PAYBACK COMING!!!!
Fezzik, how much stock do you really put into revenge-type situations?
