Question about 2nd half lines

Question about 2nd half lines I normally don't bet second half lines unless it's obvious. I know there is a fine art to betting second half lines. Can anyone help me shore up a weakness in my betting repertoire?

If the 2nd half line on this favorite is more than half the line for the game, I bet the favorite in the 2nd half. It's even better if the favorite is the home team. I think the favorite team's coach chews them out good during his half-time speech and the favorite comes out and kicks ass in the 2nd half.

I agree 100% with Mobile Bandit. For the past several years my units have gone up in baskets looking for very similar plays. I have posted a couple here on LVASports. It helps to be watching the game or listening on radio. Key players may have been taken out or injured. 10 years ago you couldn't bet or hedge with second half bets, only on certain TV games. Now the full slate is available and should be handicapped. T-Tad, I would look initially at favorites behind heavy, and then laying no more than -8 in the 2nd half. However be aware that small schools do not do well in this situation. I've found that you should make a line first, stick to it and if the number comes up, you have a play. The more you do this the more comfortable you will be betting 2nd halfs.

If not, then ignore my comments about how I bet 2nd half CBB.

I didn't notice he was in the Football forum and therefore must have been referring to football 2nd halfs so I told him what I was doing with my CBB 2nd half plays. When you said, "could not disagree more", I assumed you meant you thought the way I was playing CBB 2nd plays was wrong. And if I was making a mistake, I wanted to hear what you thought I was doing wrong since I had been having great success with what I was doing. Was your whole "disagreement" comment due to my posting a CBB system in the Football forum or do you have some ideas about making CBB 2nd half's you can share with us? Thanks!
