Question for lee sterling

2nd Response First off, Fezzik and I aren't what you would call friends. I have had one or two conversations on the phone with him a few years back and have seen him and spoke to him briefly at the Vegas Insider convention twice. I was monitored with Vegas Insider the last two years. Call them at 954-731-7644 and ask anyone who works there to look up my record for football and basketball the last two seasons. I won both years in both sports overall and that was just releasing my opinion plays and my smallest level of plays. I had the highest overall winning percentage last season in college basketball at their website out of over 50 handicappers. I didn't release my top two levels of games as Vegas Insider charged just $649.00 per season for each of my sports and a smaller price on a daily basis for my individual plays than I do. I ran into many instances where people bought picks at Vegas Insider and found out that I had additional plays at my website or on my call in line. In the end it was a positive experience at Vegas Insider as Peter Gold and his employees are great at what they do and have a fine collection of handicappers. For me it was a hastle to spend 15-30 minutes on a daily basis submitting my picks to them over the internet and the fairly small amount of money made off selling the picks at that or any other website didn't justify my limited time. For the immediate future I will only sell picks on my website. I will try to hook up with an undependent sports monitor within the next month. Any suggestions would be appreciated. As for me being semi - sharp I would say that is a fair observation of my handicapping talents. My strengths are probably my observations of each teams strengths and weakenesses, my contacts and betting 2nd half sides and totals. My main weakness as a handicapper is projecting line movement. I'm always looking to sharpen my handicapping skills and gain nuggets of information. I hope I have made a minor contribution to the board in the past and will continue to make a positive contribution going forward.
I don't doubt any service will tell you that they are doing better than they are. All their ads are stretched to the limits. If you look at Northcoast newsletter it sounds like he's winning everything, while on another posting site a customer complains about an 0-5 on sides on Sat. You'll never see that in headlines. Expect nothing better than 55% overall from anyone long term and you won't be dissapointed.Fezzik himself, if you ever listened to him on Leroys or other shows will tell you he has many times checked out Vegas Insider services and not many are even close to 54%, and kudos to those that have their records posted, losing or winning.
I for one have appreciated your insight on the canes-u have been deadon in your reads on them this season and I have made some money off of your suggestions on the U and how to handicap them-thanks

Keep them coming when you can.

Response Thanks for the kind words. I will do my best to offer some nuggets from time to time and give my thoughts when I either agree or disagree with a post. I know all the Florida teams real well in football and basketball. I attend many games live and see almost all of them on TV. If anyone ever has a question about them or if someone is playing I'd be happy to help out. I only hope in the future if people have any teams they know well, they can keep us informed.
I was monitored with Vegas Insider the last two years.
You sure you want to admit this? Vegas Insider grading policies are notorious for being unfair to their clients. You can search the old board for James Manos to look up his story and/or check out this thread: https://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=36&threadid=170504&FTVAR_MSGDBTABLE=
While catching up on past threads I saw Fezzik claiming that Phil Steele's record was perhaps only inflated by 0.7% by VegasInsider, and implied that the 0.7% might be too high and a bit unfair to Steele, but given the numbers posted, it's almost certain that VegasInsider inflates more than that.
Hey Sterling – there’s something I don’t understand – maybe you can clear it up for me. You state that the guy who runs the website sports-betting-insights.com is a three year client of yours, and that “I allowed him to include my service on his website after I made sure all the other services on his website were long term winners and on the up and up”. Is that right? You went to that trouble? I would think that if you went to all that trouble, you might also have read what he says about YOUR sports service, you know - PARAMOUNT SPORTS? Because if you had, I would think that you would have noticed that he says : What's Their Track Record? Paramount Sports has a very solid track record. Although it's not listed on the website you can always check his winning percentage for all sports by calling The Monitor at 1-888-334-7800. You say that you left Ruth Glascoe’s Sports Monitor in 2005, so you couldn’t have thought that he was referring to them. And you certainly couldn’t have confused “The Monitor” with “Vegas Insider”, could you? So when you saw that this guy was saying that you were being monitored by “The Monitor”, you must have known that wasn’t correct. Why didn’t you clear it up? Same thing with : He does have a blog on the website that he updates a few times a week with his weekly record so you're always able to keep track that way. That’s not correct either. If a visitor to your website clicks on “Lee’s blog”, it doesn’t go to a page where it shows your record, it just has a bunch of videos of you talking about certain games. Why didn’t you correct that either? I mean, if you were so concerned that what this client of yours was saying about OTHER sports services being correct, why wouldn’t you care that what he said about YOUR sports service was correct?
I'm confident Lee will posts more winners than losers Do people in this industry embellish? Yes. Do they exaggerate? Yes. Can I tell the difference between a talented capper and a shill huckster? Yes. Lee has some very good information. Let him share here. Regardless of what was said, we all know no one hits 60% ATS, and if his office said that, let him know, and let him handle it. If he said it, he won't say it anymore, and you are right to call him out on it, and it's disappointing that it happened. It's also disappointing Dave Cokin prints he has the UCLA/USC winner guaranteed 2 months before the game. If someone set up a phony monitoring service, that lies about his records, then this is beyond disappointing. I hope to wipe the slate clean, be happy to have sharp posters here, and all try to find some winnners, and maybe we will light a fire here for Lee to show his talents, which I for one do not disupute in the least.....and I will look into this further I assure all. I had the Browns tonight........ugh UPDATE: REQUEST TO SOMEONE ON THIS BOARD. The monitoring service phone number just rings and rings, no pickup. Someone call over to Paramount and ask for their 1,3, and 5 year overall records and post what they say here. Be explicit in your questions. If Paramount is saying they hit over 60% ATS on ALL plays (or gulp) 70% I DON'T CARE that Lee is the bets capper in the world, and I don't care if it ruins a relationship, I will not allow this nonsense.
Do people in this industry embellish? Yes. Do they exaggerate? Yes. The problem is we're not just talking about embellishing or exaggerating. We're talking about a carefully setup scam involving a fake monitor with an 800 number. Although when I call the number now it just rings and rings, nobody answers, when I called in late September I did get through, and the first time I was told that Paramount hit 74.1% last year, and when I called a second time I was told they hit between 70-76% the last five years. Then when I called Paramount's 800 number they confirmed it. This is way beyond just embellishing or exaggerating.
