To come up with a starting point, I take home vs away offensive and defensive total yardage stats. Each 100 yard advantage = 7 points. 150 yard advantage for example would give me a line of -10.5. Then, you have to adjust for home field, strength of schedule, injuries, turnovers etc. which makes it much more subjective.
