I remember this thread last year, where we talked about passing on a game if a respected capper (Phil Steele fwiw) was on the other side and it was close. Or was 54.8 a typo possibly? Market came right back after the line drove under to 56.5 it is now at 57.5 or 57. yeah there is some resistence. Valid question for sure. I am on over 54 from early in the week and am all set.

Resistence is from donkeys blindly following RAS off the clifff No good bettor would play this 'over' 56.5. The right number is 55. Un 57 is a good wager. We are NOT vs. RAS here. RAS liked OV 54.5....... This isn't a SunBelt game. THE chance everyone got the game wrong on a high profile top10 team by 3 points all the way to Thursday is slim and none. Last week RAS had Ark st UN 54.5 we had OV 51, it closed 50.7. 800+ yards of offense later, it landed 54 and everyone won....welll not everyone, not the guys playing UN 51, thinking they had a clue how to win at this.

Fair enough. I understand they are different wagers and don't have a problem with fading steam, but I was more wondering about the firing with only 2 pts difference in your line on high totals (with the addition that RAS obviously had it lined higher). That's just less than what I've heard for most cappers. As for the near perfect market, I'd also add that we played top ten high profile Florida under the total today 2 weight.

I did some more work on this one, and UN 57 may be a lemon...... If I had to do it again, I would not have released it......

I think you have the right side. Its one thing to talk about playing fast and winging it all over the field to reporters, and another thing come out winging it at home with an average team against one of the best teams in the country. If an Erickson team comes out with a hurry-up offense in the 1st half here, I'll run down the street naked. And we still will have a coin-flip at 57/57.5.
