releasing totals on wednesday?

releasing totals on wednesday? fez, this time of week 99% of bettors aren't able to bet more than 1k/game on cfb totals. For the syndicates out there the majority of their action comes thursday and friday. I'm sure Old School has some might fine off-screen outs but the rest of us are stuck in a tiny market. Do you think it would be better to wait until thursday night to release?

These releases quickly separate who cares primarilay about their records and who wants to make the most money...

I didn't exactly carpet bomb the board........ I plan to give out only 1 or 2 totals on W each week here. And maybe an early side. Then maybe some more later in the week on Friday. If any of you have a particularly solid total you like, and you specifically don't want me releasing on that game, just send me a notification and I assure you I will leave it off my list (and if I bet the game, I will bet it quietly and offscreen). Tough balancing act. Some upset I gave out anything early in the week. Others would be upset if I wait to give out great plays like 311 OV 41 on Marshall/VT, or choose to still give it out OV 43. I will call it a strong opinion at 43, nothing more. If I wanted to just build a strong record, I think EVERYONE sharp here knows I could just post vs. CRIS's opening totals and hit 58%..........and none of us would make any money as the numbers would be gone in 30 seconds, 5 seconds if I posted when I would post them. This isn't Fezziksplace.com. It's LVAsports.com, and what works best is if we get a group of guys posting solid advantage plays every day of the week........from lots of sources. Having said all that, I hope a fair compromise is 1 total, 1 side on Wednesday, and then some games on Friday......... Good?

i honestly wasn't complaining at all, more of a suggestion. old school fired in a half dozen or so plays too and i'm sure people here are betting his selections. i don't mind if you release the board on wednesday but keep in mind most of the subscribers won't be able to get down and then will be stuck in a quandry about if they should bet the first available number they see. maybe it's solve by inspection to you or i but most will be confused. as far documenting your record, argue that w/mr. peanuts.

I will never understand why those of us that have early outs and have the opp to scour the forum boards regularly should have to wait on those that don't. While I agree this isn't Fezziksplace, one of the main attractions for pay was your tidbits of info. With that said....I wouldn't be opposed (or several others I'm guessing) to one weekly thread (maybe 1 for NFL and 1 for NCAA) that is strictly your plays. It would make it much easier to not miss something when looking through the forum that you are willing to put out, and I would also vote to have it locked so that you and you only could post in that thread. for the newbies/squares i understand exactly what jackie's saying. when someone releases plays that are going to move an extremely inefficent market, it makes it extraordinarly difficult for syndicates to get big amounts (50-100k) on decent numbers. if everyone kept quiet and didn't bet a thing until thurs. life would be much better for everyone but that's entirely unrealistic.

[/I] I am not a pro but i don't consider myself a donk/square by far. That being said, I don't care about syndicates being able to get down on great numbers - I care about myself and Fez is helping me and other non-pros get good numbers. I don't have time to monitor this board too much but I was able to get his 3 plays within 1/2 point - so now I'm sitting with some nice numbers. I know Fez posts only a fraction of his plays - but again I could care less about syndicates being able to bet $100k on good numbers - they could surely cut their own deals with the Fez's of the world, but there are likely too many nowadays.

Like a lot of gambling opportunities, Prisoners Dilemma applies. It's only best for everyone if everyone goes along with it and as anyone who's been gambling for awhile knows, that is not going to happen once the word gets out.
