Reminder to all re: Offshore Books, USE SPORTSBOOKREVIEW.com as a great tool

A few months ago I transferred some money from WSEX to Matchbook by sending emails to both books. I noticed WSEX took out an extra $50 and questioned them on it because transfers had peviously been free. They said that was their new policy, so I called MB and asked if they'd refund it with commission credit. They said they would but just this one time. This was before WSEX's payout problems. I believe I posted it on the old LVA board, but you guys might want to try it to recover your $50.
Sportsbookreview.com reommendeed Sportsbook as an A+ and had them on their front page as a go-to. SBR's review was very complimentary and made them sound like the best thing since sliced bread. I clicked on players' reviews for Sportsbook and the customers almost all busted Sportsbook's balls. How can they give them A+ without responding to their own readers' reviews? I got nothing against Betcris but I never have completely trusted watchdog outfits' integrity when you know they are always getting payola offers.
Huh? When did they ever have sportsbook.com as an A+ book?
Huh? When did they ever have sportsbook.com as an A+ book?
Sorry, it was Bookmaker, not Sportsbook that is listed as A+ and had the negative player reviews. I was being a dumbass. It might be a good book, was just surprised by the reviews.
Sorry, it was Bookmaker, not Sportsbook that is listed as A+ and had the negative player reviews. I was being a dumbass. It might be a good book, was just surprised by the reviews.
would make sense I guess. when you look at books, there are some key indicators 1) do they pay 2) rewards program/bonuses 3) lines up early 4) variety of bet options 5) fast and easy to use website 6) customer service availability and friendliness and i think for the most part bookmaker succeeds, although their 5 minute logout for inactivity is the worst of any sportsbook by far. but i'm sure people would complain about withdrawal fees or losing their bonus points, etc. there are drawbacks to just about every book out there. i think the greek is great but i still hear negative things about them on forums....

Different books suit different players' needs. Pros looking to bet big will of course think Bookmaker/CRIS is a must-have b/c of limits, security, openers, etc. For smaller bettors not worried about openers, Bookmaker might look terrible with the fees and full juice. As Jefff mentioned, there are pros/cons for just about every book. There's a lot more to look into than simply the SBR rating.
I've used many C and D rated books and still do. Sure there is some risk involved with these types of books but sometimes the reward can be greater than the risk. As long as you follow the rules and keep your bets low enough to stay under the radar you should be ok. Places like SIA and BetEd are rated D but I found them to be decent shops that paid faster than other A and B rated books. You may not last long at some of these places but you will get paid as long as you follow the rules.
I'd love to know why BetJamaica still does not have totals up for today's football. I mean, even the Bodogs have #'s up. they had nothing up for their half vig friday special.
Payoffs Plus is a great book. Don't know what SBR rates them but I was with them for years before they kicked me at. They are very professional and offer great offs. Even money 6 pt. teasers, 14:5 on a 2-team parlay, and 6.5:1 on a 3 teamer. I loved them. They were very professional about kicking me out but paying me promptly. They are part of First Fidelity and/or YouWager.com. They'd prefer you sign up under Youwager but there's no reason to as Youwager doesn't offer the better odds. I believe the site for Payoffs is Betpop.com.
