Sunday We went 2-1 on our mlb picks Saturday and 1-2 on our ncaa fb picks.
Cinci gave oklahoma all they could handle only behind by 2 late in the game, rice never was in the game, and Rutgers could of gone either way. Down by 1 midway through the 4th quarter a blocked punt and an interception within the 10 did us in.
Today nothing I can see in mlb. And Most of the Hilton picks the line has moved to where they are not plays.
There is only 1 game that with the numbers as they are now is a play but it is close enough that I am going to wait until it is clear. Its a 3pm game so If its a play I will probably post an update after 2.
I received an email asking why not Buffalo or Cleveland in the Hilton contest since the public is very heavy on the other sides....over 80%.
I looked at both of them...but I tend to stay away from teams that have starting quarterback injuries. In addition Buffalo was +13 in the Hilton and the line has move to +14.5. Cleveland however was a pick in Leroys but only because they moved all of the 3 pt lines to 2.5. Otherwise I never would of considered them.
Another email asked why Detroit in Leroys since the public is on Detroit.
Unfortunately when you have to pick 5 games each week and then one of the contests takes all the 3 pt games and moves them to 2.5 you have to come up with something. Detroit would of been my 5th pick in Leroys....and maybe today the public is right on this game:) Now if the public number would of been over 70% I would of not included the game.
