SEC SEC SEC!! fade fade fade

That game was not nearly as close as it ended. Oregon a few lucky plays. Newton clearly hurt. Could easily have been 30-10. If they played again, Auburn is favored by 3.5 or more
Well Fezzik and I will be happy to fade all you guys for years to come!
Fade the Patriot too...
SEC vs. the Pats The great thing about fading the SEC is that EVERYONE knows the SEC is the best conference. While, we all know the Pats are a great program, and it VERY difficult not to look at the stats and ask "HOW IN THE HELL CAN THIS TEAM BE -**** vs. a team with comparable stats?". Then with 2:05 left in the 1half, The Pats in their 2:00 offense down 10, run the ball and pick up 6 and 1st down. 2:00 warning. Free time-0ut. Next play, Brady completes a 25 yard pass, canaries flying. PERSONAL FOUL. Rouging the passer. 2nd PERSONAL foul roughing the receiver. 1st and goal at the 9, 1:50 left. PAts run a screen, pick up 7 yards, TICK TICK TICK. Opposing coach stares into space. TICK TICK TICK. With 2 seconds on the play clock, Brady with a 3 WR formations runs a draw/shovel pass/sneak for a TD. They kickoff. Opponent runs it back to the 24. 1:10 left. THey hand the ball to MJD who gets 6 yards. Jags unsure what to do. The Genius lets the clock TICK TICK TICK. Jags conclude "why risk it, we have the lead!!", and go into halftime. .......late in the 4th quarter down 5 from the PAts 33, 4th and 22, they go for it........BOY, it sure would have been easier to have gotten 3 more points at the end of the 1h!

Fezz, what exactly has changed? The talking heads and football fans in general have been hyping the SEC bigtime for a minimum of 3-4 years now, no? I don't see how a close cover/push in the title game is going to shift the dynamics. If anything, I think the TCU's/ Boise's will get more respect moving forward.
"Since 1994 the Pac-10 is 13-12 straight up and 18-7 ATS against the SEC, including 4-3 straight up and 6-1 ATS since 2007 (4-0 ATS the last 2 years). In more competitive games, in which the point spread is 10 points or less the Pac-10 is actually 10-4 straight up and 10-4 ATS against the SEC. Case closed!" ~Doc Bob 1/10/2011
