SF/Pit tonight Speaking as a sports fan here, to be honest.
I don't understand why the 49ers are favored. The only way I can see them winning this game is by throwing at Polamalu, who has regressed significantly this season. The only place the 49ers seem superior to me is in their front 7.
Weather isn't a factor. Pittsburgh travels well, but the stands will still be mostly full of 49er fans. I don't think home field advantage is worth four or five points, and I have Pittsburgh as two points better on a neutral site.
I've got half a unit each on Pit +135 and +3 -110. Hope to be wrong because I do love my Niners, and this is why you don't bet on or against your team if you can't be objective. (Being a defeatist is just as bad. I could very well be doing that.)
