Shooter's Bowl Thread

Took ML at +105 in lieu of 1.5. Just using line for my various contest purposes.
INDEPENDENCE BOWL: 217 Georgia Tech (+3) (-105) A few suspensions for the Yellow Jackets. Slightly better running game and defense for the Jackets. Very small play.
CHAMPS SPORTS BOWL: 219 NC State/West Virginia OV 49 220 West Virginia (-2') 1.5* Bill Stewart is a terrible coach which is why he is out after next year, but he is a decent motivator at least. INSIGHT BOWL: 222 Iowa (+1') 1st H 1.5* 222 Iowa (+3) (-108) Game 2.5* 222 Missouri/Iowa UN 47 Lots of suspensions for Iowa. Iowa finished the season poorly. I think Ferentz gets them up here.
MILITARY BOWL: 223 East Carolina/Maryland OV 68' 224 Maryland (-7') (-105) Fridge's last game. E Carolina can't stop anyone. TEXAS BOWL: 225 Illinois (PK) 1.5* Illinois off a clunker at Fresno St. Baylor finally in a bowl and happy to be there. ALAMO BOWL: 227 Arizona (+4') 1.5* 228 Arizona/Oklahoma St UN 67 Think the Holgersen to WV thing has to be a distraction.

ARMED FORCES BOWL: 229 Army (+4') 1st H 229/230 Army/SMU UN 52 Ball control Army has good defense as well. SMU may be overhyped with the "Pony Excess" thing. Academies always travel well. Even though this is on SMU's home field. Army will have just as many people there.
Wow!!! I had "NO" SMU was this bad. Shame on me. Has this Padron ever played QB?? And I thought thought Baylor was a bad football team!!
We are in great shape here. Thanks Shooter
Great call, Shooter! Even tho it's not over yet. I love the academies in the bowls. They seem to always be motivated while the civilian schools in the early bowls often seem disinterested.
PINSTRIPE BOWL: 231 Kansas State/Syracuse OV 48 Lean to Cuse b/c there a shitload of Cuse alums in NYC. They draw more peeps to the Big East Tournament than any other Big East school every year, even more than city school St. John's or nearby Rutgers/Seton Hall. I like the over just a bit better. Cuse not a good run team (133 pg), but K-State gives over 210 pg. Cuse defense numbers built up against weak Big East. How many good offenses are in the Big East? Zero.
HOLIDAY BOWL: 235 Washington (+7') 1st H 235 Washington (+14) (-120) Game I took it at 14 (-110) a couple weeks back. Really like the Huskies here. Huskies had to fight to get in a bowl winning in a rainstorm at Cal and then winning the Apple Cup against a motivated rival Wazzu. Nebraska doesn't seem to give a rip about this game. They lost their shot at BCS. Seemingly have some dissension in the ranks. Locker's last stand in this game and is finally healthy. Nebraska beat piss out of them earlier in season. Holiday Bowl (save for LY when Huskers shut out Arizona 33-0) is usually wild and wooly and unpredictable.
