Shooter's Week #1 NFL Already posted earlier in the summer on Cincy (-3) and Dallas (-3). Those #'s are long gone. Here's what I like for the opening night game: 451 Tennessee (+7) (-113) A team that can run the ball, stop the run (even without Haynesworth) and rush the passer. Good characteristics for an underdog play. Much too much is made of the whole "terrible towel" incident in Tennessee LY as motivation for the Steelers and people are playing into it. The Steelers, last I checked, are the defending SB champs, so I'm sure a towel isn't going to provide extra motivation. More to come.

The reason I like this side, Shooter, is because people seem to forget Tenn destroying this Pittsburgh team in week 16 last year. Yes, Pitt went on to beat the Ravens (tenn looked better but had the three RZ turnovers) and the .500 Cardinals in the superbowl but a full 2 pt move now is big.

451/452 Tenn/Pitt OVER 17' (-105) 2nd H Offenses really opened up late in half. Tenn outplaying Pitt for the most part. Titans gotten to Ben already for 3 sacks. Pitt's got some defensive injuries. THese big pass plays are going to open up some big runs for Johnson. Tennessee will also allow a lot of underneath stuff to move the chains.
