Shooter's Week 16 NFL

Shooter's Week 16 NFL 0-2 start on Xmas. 103/104 Seattle/Green Bay OV 41' 103 Seattle (+14) Seattle got shut down by pathetic Tampa. No way they hang with the Pack, right? 105/106 Oakland/Cleveland OV 37 Two teams that are terrible usually lead to high-scoring games. 107 Kansas City (+14) (-120) 107/108 Kansas City/Cincinnati OV 39' (-105) Bengals tend to play to their level of competition. They may be emotionally drained off that big effort at San Diego in the aftermath of Chris Henry's death. 110 Buffalo (+9) 113 Carolina (+8) 113/114 Carolina/NY Giants OV 42 Giants overvalued off that thrashing on MNF. Carolina usually a good bet as road dog. Fox fighting for his job against former team. 115 Tampa Bay (+14) NO has had an extra day off. Total letdown meaningless game. All they have to do is win the clinch HFA. Freeman has been a typical rookie with too many TO's, but he's shown good flashes as well. 117/118 Jacksonville/New England OV 43' (-108) 119/120 Baltimore/Pittsburgh UNDER 43 120 Pittsburgh (-3) (+111) Pitt still alive and not dead yet. Total inflated b/c these are two teams that can throw the ball. I think they resort to form here and go conservative knowing what a big game this is for both of their playoff hopes. 121 Denver (+7) Denver off 2 straight losses including to Oakland at home. They look like they are flatlining and Philly was won and covered 3 straight in blowouts. Philly looks too easy. 123/124 St Louis/Arizona OV 43' Arizona's clinched the West. I expect Leinart to see action and they have to let him throw since I think they are evaluating him to see if he is their QB of the future or increasing his trade value. 125 Detroit (+14) (-105) Usually a QB making first road start is automatic go-against. Niners don't score enough and have enough on offense to merit this kind of line. 127/128 NY Jets/Indianapolis OV 40 Almost the entire Colts D is on the injury report. Jets should have success running the ball and the Colts should be able to hit seam routes all day long. If Manning isn't afraid to challenge Champ Bailey, he's not afraid of Darrelle Revis. 130 Washington (+7) (-106) Dallas off huge win, Skins off embarrassing loss. All of a sudden, Dallas wins one game and their December woes are over. I'm not buying it.
1) Pack destroys 'Hawks - Coach Mora's public comments against his O line will hurt his team here... 2)OAK shows up against deer-in-headlighted Browns, Holmgren auditioning everyone including the waterboy - expect QB Anderson to play like Adam Sandler... 3) True Bungles play down to competition but there is a greater chance they blow the doors off KC who appears to have mailed it in - again the Coach had a lot to do with this. Projected score: CIN 37 KC 13 4) Can't pick the ATL/BUF game - BUF has Byrd out on D, QB is a game-time decision. Yet Falcons as a Fav has not done well either and has injuries too - they lead NFL in Starter injuries... must pass this game! 5) G-Men to outscore Cats in shootout - projected score: NYG 44 - CAR 31 6)Freerollin' Saints march and dance on outmanned Bucs - NO 47 Tampa Bay 16 7)Line of course leaps up from Jax + 7 after I already used JAX on all my Round Robins; now is NE -10.5 where I am at. Projected Score: NE 27 Jax 23 8) I opened my big mouth the other day and said that BAL will pound the 'Burgh w/ Mcgahee/Rice/McClain for 225 yards. I am walking the plank and BAL gets the job done here... BAL 31 PIT 16 9) DEN has not fared well against NFC East teams although they got lucky and beat Cowboys when DEN had their smoke-and-mirrors in the full Monty when they had their magical 6-0 start to defraud the NFL. Since then they got whupped by WAS but rebounded to hit G Men at right time when QB Manning( Eli, not the immortal and revered Peyton) reverted to the "norm" and got pounded 26 -6 I think that score was... Eagles too much big-play capability and after the 2nd half adjustments they blow the doors off the perrenial December fade team of the '00's( people get them confused w/ Cowboys' Dec woes). Projected score: Beagles 48 DEN 19 10) Coach Wisenhunt WILL be playing Leinart some. ARZ is almost in an exhibition game here - they can't advance their seeding. Rams + 14( 15.5 now) is the play here. Can't play the totals because of exhibition rehearsals. ARZ 23 STL 17 11) SF 27 Det 12 12) The most intriguing game of the week - Jets @ Indy. It LOOKS LIKE the Indy players want the undefeated season. Coach Caldwell has got to know how rust has hurt THIS team in the one-and-done years of the past, and the fickle public used to cry their mantra: " Peyton can't win the big ones". The public always used their convenient and selective memories/judgments and overlooked the bad liquid baby-diapered defenses the Dolts produce year after year. The Jets??? Supposedly they have a top-notch defense. Supposedly the top-notch running game. They could be 10-4 right now if they had played Clemons instead of Sanchez. They could not even kick a FG last week against arm-and-leg-in-a-sling Falcons. But this game is in a dome, and this could be Jets' superbowl as they will NOT make the post-season nor do they deserve to be in the post-season - just ask reform-schooled WR B. Edwards. This is wishful thinking on my part so please do not bet this way. I choose to waste $$$ every week. This game I am trying to "middle". I have Indy -2.5, Jets + 6.5 and hoping the Dolts 2nd string can hang on to a 17-3 lead @ the half, winning 20-17. 13) Perfect handicap storm brew here: Cowboys let-down and resume their subliminal "please fire Wade Phillips" play in Dec., which has Owner J. Jones' ire in full flame( Jones counts the number of SuperBowls he would have won had he kept Jimmy Johnson in his sleep EVERY night). Redskins? They looked about as bad as ANY NFL team could have looked last Mon night against the desperate G Men. You could see the body language change once the G men took that opening drive, and barely but did score 7. Game of milliseconds; Redskins so close to stopping them. But they did not, and realized that the G Men were like the endangered Polar Bears. This week, they face their hated, MOST hated Division rivals, the 'pokes, and this game IS WAS Super Bowl. DAL 16 WAS 14. Enjoy!!! Iron Man and Sub-Mariner
Thanks for the input, but wouldn't you be better served to put this in your own thread instead of just being a jerk and pissing all over my picks for no reason.
128 Indianapolis (-3) (-119) Money still coming in on the Jets. People blindly following BW. He bet a better number than 3 on this one.

If you had the Raiders/Browns UNDER, luckiest win of the year. I, of course, have the OVER. Two straight drives, the Raiders get down to the CLE 4 and CLE 2 respectively and Charlie Frye throws an INT in the end zone and before that they have 1st and goal at the 2 with plenty of time and throw the ball 4 straight times. You have like 10 RB's, half of whom where first-day draft picks and you don't run the ball?!?!? Horrible, horrible beat. Raiders have almost 400 yds and 9 points. Right side, right handicapping, wrong result.
Right with you in the OVER.
Thanks for the input, but wouldn't you be better served to put this in your own thread instead of just being a jerk and pissing all over my picks for no reason.
I did not mean to be this jerk you say I am. I thought of no consequence; did not think is was a big deal. I will start my own threads for now on. A true jerk I am for the BAD picks I made, yes but did not try to be a jerk to anyone else but my bankroll. IMSM
