Shooter's Week #2 CFB

343/344 SMU/UAB OVER 61 SMU gave up 460 yds to Stephen F. Austin and had to come back from a 23-14 deficit to win the game in the 4th. The glimmer of hope was that SMU does have a run game to take the pressure off Bo Levi Mitchell with the addition of Shawnbrey McNeal, Miami (FL) transfer. UAB's offense is greatly improved this year and They put 516 on Rice in only 55 plays. Joe Webb had 221 passing and 194 rushing. UAB did give up a couple long drives in the 2nd half and SMU will keep throwing if they get behind. 345/346 Pitt/Buffalo UNDER 49 349/350 Kent/BC UNDER 46' (-102) BC played 4 diff QB's decent time last week. I expect they'll just go with one (Justin Tuggle) here. New HC Spaziani is a defensive guy. Kent no longer has the dynamic running and passing QB Julian Edelman, which makes their offense a lot easier to stop.
Agree with 343 over and 345 under. Now agree on 10 bets.
353 Air Force (+4) (-118) Still at 3.5 and even 3 at 1 or 2 places. I like the Force here. Minnesota opens their brand new stadium and they are laying this low # to Air Force? 353/354 Air Force/Minnesota OVER 47 (-103) I still think Minny is adjusting to new stuff without previous DC Ted Roof. I also think Weber will be a little sharper for Minny than he was LW at Cuse.
We now agree on 12 bets. Good luck!

362 UTEP (+14) (-118) When a big public side combined with smart money and a ton of touts push a line from 4' to 11 (Starks inj for Buffalo had some to do with it as well) and it loses, there tends to be an overreaction and a lot of those same folks go against that same team the next week. That's what we see here. UTEP did not play well LW vs. Buffalo, but did score the winning TD late in the game only for it to be called back on a highly questionable holding penalty. A ranked BCS conf team coming into El Paso is enough to get the Miners motivated. Even though the game is played at night, I think the humidity could get to Kansas. It got to Buffalo late in the game as UTEP moved the ball easily in the latter stages. 365/366 Houston/OK St OVER 67 Houston +16 is one of my biggest plays of the week. I like the Over here as well. I know that Bill Young is a great DC and the Defense for OSU looked better, but I am not convinced this is a great def team. Houston is more than willing to get into a shootout with the Cowpokes. 367/368 Miami-O/Boise UNDER 52' (-107) Miami was lost offensively on Sat vs. UK. They'll be lost here as well. I still think Boise will be riding high off their win over Oregon, so you may see a slow start offensively from these guys. 369 Vanderbilt (+14') (-108) One reason is the coaching. Bobby Johnson over Les Miles. I know Vandy played W. Carolina but they still had 620 yds and 433 on the ground and ran 95 plays. Washington showed that you can keep that LSU defense on the field for a while and I think Vandy can do it as well.
377/378 Oregon St/UNLV UNDER 54 385/386 Troy/Florida OVER 58' (-105) These two teams played in 07' and combined for 90. Troy has a capable offense. Even if they get 14, I'm sure Florida gets 45 with ease. 391/392 K-State/Lafayette UNDER 59 K-State still has a lot of work to do on defense from the Prince era and new QB Carson Coffman was shaky LW. This game was a 45-37shootout LY, which provides value to the Under. Lafayette also played at Illinois LY and held them to 20. Laf also has to adjust to a pocket passer (Chris Masson) as mobile QB Michael Desormeaux is gone. This makes ULL easier to stop.
Shooter, Maybe posting the sides/totals you DON'T like would be less time consuming for you? :) Just pulling your chain bud...thanks for posting and good look again this week. Nice job last week.
We now agree on 12 bets. Good luck!
Great minds think alike I suppose. :D
One more: 351/352 Rice/Tex Tech OVER 66 (-103) Texas Tech "struggled" on offense LW. They were held to 445 yds. The new QB Taylor Potts also threw 3 picks. Good value here off LW's performance. Rice's defense is horrible and UAB carved through them. I expect TT to be crisper this week. Rice got behind big LW and still tried to score and not run out clock. GL Off to work on more NFL now.
Add: 319/320 Miss St/Auburn OVER 43 Agree with Fez. Still avail at CRIS. Liked this initially, but waited a little long. Auburn's totals continue to be low. Oddsmakers haven't caught up yet to the new Gus Malzahn Offense. 323/324 Fresno/Wisconsin UNDER 53' Waited for this to get put back OTB. Fresno is trying to re-emphasize the run game with a new QB. Wisky has their own inexperienced QB the work with here. Colburn's first road start for Fresno and I expect Wisky to have a better defensive effort after dominating No Illinois and giving up two 4th Qtr TD's (one was a short field).
