Shooter's Week #2 CFB
Add: 319/320 Miss St/Auburn OVER 43 Agree with Fez. Still avail at CRIS. Liked this initially, but waited a little long. Auburn's totals continue to be low. Oddsmakers haven't caught up yet to the new Gus Malzahn Offense.
On top, the Miss St spread (former florida OC) was ran very well in the 2H. Nice spead dynamic.
Add for Thursday night: 301/302 Clemson/Ga Tech OVER 44 The L4 mtgs have gone way under. However, you have a RS FR (Kyle Parker) making his first road start, which could be good for some turnovers and short fields. Paul Johnson also wasn't happy with GT's intensity LW. "We have a little problem with killer instinct and intensity levels and playing hard. That is something we have to work on." Clemson also allowed Middle Tenn 9/20 on 3rd Down. Even with Spiller injured, Clemson was able to run the ball fairly well.
I go to lunch hoping my OV 43 +102 gets filled and I come back to a full two points worse (I did get a few nibbles from the fish, but no big bites) Damn you sharps!
We agree on #334, 357, 373, 376, , 313, 320, 326, 317; disagree on 317 total. Last week agreed on 14 games, and those went 10-4. Good luck this week!
OS--you say you and Shooter agree on 317 and disagree on the 317 total. I didn't see either of these plays mentioned in your post. Thanks
OS--you say you and Shooter agree on 317 and disagree on the 317 total. I didn't see either of these plays mentioned in your post. Thanks
I should have said we agree on #327 and disagree on the total. Good work Bucky.
As of now I think we agree on #373 USC, #320Auburn, #376 SJ St, #327 SC, #353 AF, #357 WM, #345 Pitsburg under, #366 Oklahoma St over, #391 Kansas St under, #313 CM, and #325 Stanford. We now disagree on #334 Oregon and #327 SC over. Good luck to everyone!
and probably some disagreement on Duke vs. Army. Waiting on a better # though. A lot of respected people are on Army and I have them as a play on this year and had them LW, but I think Duke is undervalued off their loss to FCS Champ Richmond.
Add: 321 Duke (+1) (-112) 321/322 Duke/Army OVER 42 Overreaction to the the Richmond loss. Duke was overconfident on the basis of their win over similar team (James Madison LY). https://www.heraldsun.com/pages/full_story_sports/push?article-Cutcliffe-+We+have+to+win+the+hard+way%20&id=3537960-Cutcliffe-+We+have+to+win+the+hard+way&instance=main_article Duke has a 4-year starter at QB. Army is a play-on team IMO this year, but they played a dog team LW and Duke lost at home to a team they theoretically should've beaten. I think the oddsmakers overcompensated here. 311/312 Marshall/Va Tech OV 42' Got this at Bookmaker. VT only had 155 yds LW. I would expect better here. Marshall couldn't run the ball on So Illinois and they won't run on VT either, even though their rush D looks not as solid as usual. Marshall allowed 8/14 on 3rd Down to SIU. VT should be able to move the ball at will. Marshall's offense is also improved. 331/332 BYU/Tulane UNDER 54 Total set high b/c BYU is bound to break out of their lack of offense LW, right? GL
Add: 343 SMU (+12) UAB opened -2' and closed -6 over Rice. People continued to bet it even then and UAB covered by 20. Now they are -12 over SMU. The oddsmakers overcompensated again here. They closed 6 to UAB and now they open 12? Would Rice be 6 points better than SMU on a neutral? No. I actually have SMU rated ahead of Rice. Plus, you have an SMU team that had to come back against I-AA Stephen F. Austin. UAB looks easy. Why wouldn't UAB be 14 then? GL

I have SMU ahead of Rice also and SMU is as talented as UAB imo. Both defenses are a wash. This number should really be -7 imo at most.
