Shooter's Week #5 CFB

Good grief, stop being so defensive. No one is attacking your contributions or your impressive record, that was just one funny post you made, chill out. Also, we're not all trolls for crying out loud. I run one sports forum/service, moderate another, and have been posting NFL plays in public (sometimes on a subscription site) for almost a decade... which is about as long as I have been gambling for a living. I'm here for Fezzik's insight... his insights have helped my career since I've known him through the forum I currently run since 2001... and we didn't even get along back then. Seriously, calm down, take a deep breath, and I sincerely wish you continued success.
145/146 LSU/Georgia UNDER 51' (-105) LSU allowed 26 to inconsistent off in Miss State. Georgia has put some big scores on the road vs. South Carolina and at Arkansas. These two teams put up 90 LY. Looks like a low total, but low for a reason. 119/120 NC State/Wake Forest UNDER 48' (-109) 153/154 Penn State/Illinois OVER 46 Both teams were shut down offensively LW. Think this may be a good week for both offenses to get out of their funk. 128 Buffalo (+8) Buff got +6 at CMU LY and now they opened +10 and down to +8 at home. CMU is a little up and Buff is down, but I think this is too many for a team with a bad defense to lay on the road. 173 Memphis (+7) Memphis lost at home to Marshall, but their new QB Tyler Bass provided them a spark. Similar to what their opp UCF did a few weeks ago with Brett Hodges. I don't think a team avg 17 ppg and under 300 ypg should lay over a TD. 173/174 Memphis/UCF OVER 45' 199 Florida Intl (+6) (-106) 157 Western Michigan (+7) (-115) 143/144 Washington/Notre Dame OVER 55 (-102) 147 Air Force (+3) Navy has owned the series and this line looks low and the Middies look TOO easy. 177/178 New Mexico/Texas Tech OVER 56 178 Texas Tech (-34) 159 Ohio U (+3) 159/160 Ohio/Bowling Green UNDER 48 (-105) Ohio went over against a great Tenn Vols defense, so surely it will be done at Bowling Green right? 161 UNLV (+5) (-105) 198 FAU (-3) (-113) FAU laid an egg against Monroe LW and Wyo off a big comeback win over UNLV. I think FAU as a winless fav is actually a good bet here.
Small Thurs Night play: 103/104 Colorado/West Virginia UNDER 55' Toledo steamrolled Colorado on national TV and the Buffs defense was a joke. Shouldn't the Mounties do the same? Both teams off bye weeks. Think they may be rusty early offensively. Plus, I think the bye week did CU's defense more good than it did their offense. West Va's def wasn't too bad at Auburn. They got put in jail off of Jarrett Brown TO's and short fields.
Ummm... they had already moved big long before your post.
Yes, many of Shooter's lines are very stale. Fezzik's lines are current (as are mine).
Yes, many of Shooter's lines are very stale. Fezzik's lines are current (as are mine).
Ah, another hater. A little jealous of someone stealing your thunder Mr 50 percent? You do this professionally and have a partner. I have a full-time gig and do this part-time and still kick your butt. I thought we had squashed this between us, but I guess not. I was willing to let it go, but now I have to put you on blast.
Your lines are NOT current. I have praised your record and your comments, but you post stale or nonexistent lines. Example: Indianapolis +3 +110 on Sunday nite. Numerous other examples. Just use Pinny's or Cris's or Greek's lines AT THE TIME OF YOUR POST. BTW, the season is NOT over.
Ummm... they had already moved big long before your post.
Yes, all three taken from RAS, posted later, but used the stale line current when RAS posted, but NOT when Shooter posted. All-too typical!
OK, so 175 wins in a little over 4 weeks of college football and I have used donkey lines on every single win? Give me a break. Unlike you, I can't handicap the card that fast on a Sunday night and don't have a partner to share the work. If you don't like me or are jealous, then fine. I don't know who died and made you the arbiter of all that is right and wrong on this forum. I use the lines that I play. What good are you posting plays that 95% of this forum can't get b/c they aren't playing 15 plays off openers on a Sunday night? You are strictly a market handicapper and that works for you. I am a fundamental and situational capper who actually knows the teams and watches the games and knows the personnel and that works well for me. NONE of my lines are "stale" for this week. All of them were available at the time of post either offshore or in numerous Vegas books. Why do I have to use the books you suggest? Get off your soapbox and stop bossing people around. Not everyone plays at the same books. If I can get a better line at Bodog, then I say so. Like last night, you could get 58 on the UNDER of the Hawaii/La Tech game at Bodog, but I still graded it at 57.5 to keep people like you off my a$$. However, I'm getting to the point where I don't care anymore what you or anyone else thinks. It's obvious that you've had it out for me since I came on here. I don't know if you feel threatened or what, but it's pretty juvenile in my opinion. I'm a new poster on here who was just trying to contribute, but people like you think you are so above and superior to everyone else and that is crap. You try to tear others down to make yourself feel better. It's like, "oh here's a guy that's doing well, I can't have that, so lets try to get other forum members to gang up on him and tear him down". I don't need this garbage from you or anyone else. I will be posting my last plays on here for this weekend and then you won't have to worry about it anymore. You won the war and have ran me off. Congratulations!
167 Oregon State (+5) (-105) 167/168 Oregon State/Arizona State UNDER 45 (-105) ASU getting too much love for staying close at Georgia. Oregon St comes off a tough home loss. OSU is the better team here. They were laying 15 at home LY and now get 5 OTR. 133 Mississippi (-10) (-107) The tout world was on Rice LW over Vandy (Not me) and Vandy won easily. Now the trendy newsletter play is Vandy over Ole Miss off their loss at South Carolina. Ole Miss has had a couple extra days off and I think they actually bounce back here. 172 Baylor (-21) (-105) Yes, Griffin is out and yes Baylor's dreams of a breakout season may be done, but Blake Szymanski is a 2-year starter and is capable of moving this offense especially against bad teams like Kent. 179/180 Ohio State/Indiana OVER 48' 180 Indiana (+17') (-105) the 2 best run defenses in the Big 10 make this an easy under, right? Indiana is starting to get the hang of the pistol and I think are handling their success well. Initially I would have thought this would be an easy play vs. Indiana. Not so anymore. Indiana is going to have a rare sellout here and it's not b/c of the usual 20000 Buckeye fans that make the trip to Bloomington. The student section is sold out for this game. It is also a night game. I think the Hoosiers will be pumped to play in front of a rare sold out home crowd. 181/182 Tulsa/Rice UNDER 62' (-105) 182 Rice (+17') (-111) Tulsa was -16' at home LY over a great Rice team that won 10 games LY and now they only opened -14 on the road to a Rice team that lost so much offensive talent? Something's up here. 185/186 Auburn/Tennessee UNDER 52 (-105) Finally, the Auburn Over streak can come to an end with a defense that's capable of getting stops like the Vols. 151 Oklahoma (-7) (-120) Bradford ruled out and yet the line goes up? Something's up here as well. I think the U will have a hangover from LW. Landry Jones is starting to show why he was highly recruited by everyone out of HS. 191/192 New Mexico State/San Diego State UNDER 46 192 San Diego State (-17) (-109) New Mex St made their season beating the Lobos in Albuquerque LW. 2 outstanding defensive minds with Walker at New Mex St and SDSU DC Rocky Long. 187/188 USC/California UNDER 47 (-115) 188 California (+5) 194 UTEP (+15) Houston laid -17 at home LY to UTEP and they weren't even ranked. Now they are ranked and have beaten 2 Big 12 teams already and play a 1-3 UTEP team that got beat 64-7 LW? 163/164 Colorado State/Idaho UNDER 57' (-105)
Post current lines. Is that too hard? Ind +3 +110? WTF? I hope you continue your great record (and a mere 54% is great IMO), but there is no need to post false lines.
