I agree it was easy to misinterpret anthony based on his responding to this thread, but the truth of the matter is if you're leaving you put it in your signature so people can read it while they're reading your post. Then you don't need a special thread. To IceTea's point, I think we have a good community of people as we have it now. I think it's got enough momentum without having to bring new people in every fall, people who aren't going to be here for the right reason anyway. The $25 doesn't keep the site running. It keeps the riffraff out. Message boards cost practically nothing to run on their own.

It's not a big deal, I just noticed that tone to it and it seemed to contradict with his prior comment on being open to hear suggestions and/or complaints.

I do. That is hy it struck me so hard when he posted the way he did. He has since stated that the post was not directed at me. I replied back. I respect the man and his responsibilities here. We move on.

bunch of attention hoes here...If it takes a free membership to keep you posting tell the man and spare the dramatics of "I'm leaving ---it was wonderful here etc etc" followed by "I changed my mind---I'm really staying"!! Tell the guy you deserve a free ride . This isn't "agent required" negotiations!! If he likes your value to the forum he'd be a fool not to provide a subsidy!
