Sports Betting legalization in USA Today

Sports Betting legalization in USA Today Big lead story today. Front page. Delaware and NJ are at the forefront of efforts to legalize, but there's speculation that there will be challenges in more states.
I'm hearing Massachusetts is looking into it. It can only be a matter of time till NY and NYC look into it. NYC could be the biggest sportsbetting spot in the world and the city is hurting bad for money. The state has about a 7% tax and the city a 4% tax on those making the most money. With Wall ST pay down 50+% both are in serious trouble... The more states that get involved, the more random lines there will be.
But it has to be standard-style betting, which I doubt can get through. Everything is lottery-connected, and that has to mean a gargantuan take-out.
I thought Deleware was looking at standard straight betting?

Maybe, but I'd be surprised.
Delaware has straight betting for now, pending 4 league lawsuit Lucky's has the contract for Delaware, so shouldn't the lines there be the same as at Terribles?

There was some really big carry-over pots that were huge +EV...the problem was they were usually the 10, 12 and 14-team variety. Although I do remember a $2 8-team paying over $2,200 one week. (Cal Neva paid $400 for the same ticket back then.)

Does the Delaware straight betting start NFL regular season week 1 or will it be available for the preseason too?
Deleware intends to start before the start of the regular NFL season and most CFB. The leagues sued. Date is set for December. They filed for an injunction. They failed. Now they are appealing. Basic reasons the injunction failed. 1. NFL, etc could not prove they were likely to prevail in the lawsuit. 2. NFL, etc could not prove they would suffer irreparable harm if no injunction. Judge went on to state that several league owners also own casinos - haha 3. Deleware could show they could not balance their budget and would have irreparable harm if injunction granted. I have not heard anything on the appeal date, but seems DE is good to go at this time. Sean
