Stafford out for the year?

Stafford out for the year? Terry Foster, Detroit News columnist and radio show host is saying on his facebook page that don't be surprised if the Lions announce tomorrow that stafford will need season ending knee surgery as a result of a hit he took in the 4th qtr today. Culpepper took over afterwards. We shall see.
seems highly speculative on T. Foster's part. ESPN reporting it's a dislocated kneecap, which would be max of 4 weeks. https://freep.com/article/20091004/SPORTS01/91004020/1319/

Quarterback Matthew Stafford suffered a knee injury on Sunday against the Bears. For now, it doesn't appear to be serious. Per Jay Glazer of FOX, Stafford suffered a kneecap subluxation, which is fancy doctor talk for "it popped out of joint and popped back in." On the surface, all should be fine. But there's a chance that the process of popping the knee out and in might have damaged some of the stuff in the vicinity. An MRI will be conducted Monday to determine whether anything was indeed messed up inside the knee. The Steelers come to town next week. So maybe Stafford has his fingers crossed for an injury that causes him to miss one game.

Thanks for the info.
Right when this team and Stafford was starting to show a pulse. Never fails, the jinx lives on.
iceman, we can only hope that it's not as serious as Foster thinks it is. He's no doctor. At the minimum, it sounds like he is going to be out for about 4 weeks.
