Sunday S~H~O~C~K~W~A~V~E~! Week 11 Last two weekends have been spent in Vegas so I haven't been able to post this thread. But here we go again! BROWNS +160 The Lions haven't proven anything yet, and the Brownies probably feel this is a team they can beat. RAVENS +105 I really feel the Ravens win this one outright. Colts coming off a tough game with the Pats. Defensive pressure on Manning could win this game. FALCONS +300 What? Go against my Giants? The road team has won 12 in a row in this series. Giants haven't shown anything since week 5 when I watched them beat up the Raiders at Giants Stadium. REDSKINS +450 Anything can happen in this series, and usually does. Skins are starting to improve, and defense can get to the MOST blitzed QB in the NFL. JETS +475 Last time the Pats lost to the Colts, they lost to the Jets the next game. Can history repeat? I don't know, but it's worth a shot! DA BEARS +155 This game looks too easy to bet against the Bears. But Eagles haven't been playing well and the Bears just might break out of their funk!

The Patriots have more trouble at home against the Jets than any other team in the Belichick era in terms of winning percentage. Three of their 12 losses are to NYJ.

That's a 10-to-1 shot to get swept for those keeping track at home. (Assuming true odds ... which I know is a big stretch ...)

Only one of those games wasn't close (the Patriots game -- ha! could I have been more wrong about that... but that also was the longest shot to win) Clearly those moneyline bets should be made every time, based on what we saw on the field. The other five teams were all in line to win their respective games (maybe less so for da bears).

I only needed two games to make money. The Redskins were leading all the way as +450 dog. The Browns lost on the last play at +160, and the Ravens should have won the game. I guess I should have taken the Chiefs and the Raiders to make sure I had a winning day! Have to polish up the crystal ball next week! Feel free to add you picks Czech.

Good solid picks, but some bad luck. Luck will even out, but that's over a thousand or so bets.
