Merriman has no sacks, which give the QB plenty of time to throw. Their big defensive lineman is also out, maybe for the season. Chargers got lucky here last year with two one point wins. Don;t think they are going to escape that easy this year.
VIKINGS +230 How can you pass up on a Favre led undefeated team getting 2x money+? I can't. Steelers have had trouble with their running game which the Viking "D" can take advantage of over and over. Big Ben isn't going to have the time to throw that he's been used to. Might be wrong, but the price is right!
49ers +150 Last time they were on the road, they got shellacked by the Falcons. Singletary should have gotten things straightened out with the bye week. Frank Gore returns to the running game.
RAIDERS +250 Last year the Jets traveled to the west coast three times. Three times they came away with losses, including once to the Raiders who are about the same as last year. Jets started 3-0, and are now 0-3. Maybe there's something to an East coast team traveling west for a late game, just like there's something about an west coast team traveling east for an early game. Could be!
BILLS +265 Bills got a nice win last week vs. a ten point fave Jets team. Panthers are about as erratic as the above mentioned Jets team. Last weeks victory might bolster their confidence and get the win in Carolina.
FALCONS +195 Falcons coming off a home win over the Bears, and an on the road beating of the 49ers 45-10. They've got the momentum now and face a Cowboys team that is coming off a bye and a road loss to the Broncos. Cowboys are far from being consistent and the Falcons "D" can get to Romo. Boys might need the win, but so do the Falcons.
Almost ready to pull the trigger on the Cardinals, but I'll wait until morning. Giants have some weaknesses that Zona can take advantage of. [/B]
