Survival Football - Week 13 This weeks choices for me:
San Diego > Oakland
Chicago > Detroit
Seattle > Carolina
I'd like to use San Diego, but San Diego would be useful to have come week 15 when they host SF on a short week.
That being said, Chicago may be my 2nd choice. Detroit starting Stanton. Detroit can't run the ball, etc. Being from Detroit, I don't want the "Detroit Sucks" mentality affect my decision making. In the pool, I hate division rivalries (which SD/Oak is too), let alone taking a road team. Chi is -4' last I looked. If, say KC was -4' at Den, I would say you would be nuts for taking KC over a team like SD. Well this is what Chi is, and I'm not saying i'm nuts, because I believe Detroit sucks. 10 years of losing will do that to you. But, this is a revenge game for Detroit from the week 1 Calvin Johnson process was not completed no catch for not a TD which many feel Detroit was ripped off. If you look at the Stats for that game, you would thought Chicago won the game convincingly.
So, I figure the rest of you, who are basically independent of Detroit, can help me decide.
Is Detroit a live dog here? Do I stay away from the game? How do you see it?
