Survival Football - Week #6

Survival Football - Week #6 Everyone should have survived week 5, and now we have to deal with week 6. In my pool, which started with 270, we are down to about 140-ish, and have only had 1 player eliminated the past two weeks. I still have 6 picks remaining. All 6 of my entries has been the same, NO, MIN, BAL, IND, NYG. Somewhere down the road, they will get split up, if I can survive. The top game I'm looking at is taking Philly over Oakland. I hate taking road teams in this, but will roll the dice and play the odds. If you still have Philly available, and look ahead at their schedule, there is no definitive spot to use Philly....perhaps when they host Washington week 11. I think Oakland has given up, and if they play Russel, then this should be safe. Other considerations, IMHO, Pittsburgh over Cleveland. Tough divisional rivalry is enough to stay away from this. A better spot for Pitt is when they host Oakland week 13. Green Bay over Detroit...again, tough divisional rivalry. Detroit hasn't won at GB since 1991. Odds are they will win there one of these days. GB hasn't impressed me enough to say this game is better than taking Philly. NY Jets over Bills....another divisional rivalry, but one would think Jets could be a safe play, bouncing back from the Miami loss. New England over Tennesee...NE may be safe...seeing how horrible Tenn is, and one would hope NE could bounce back from a tough Denver loss at home. Good luck for week 6
I've already used N.O., Wash, Bal, Hou and Phi. I'm thinking of maybe G.B., NYJ, or maybe Pit.
I'm rolling the dice this week and selecting Jacksonville. After the embarrassing 41-0 beating last week, I like them to bounce back and beat a less than stellar St. Louis team. Jacksonville plays better at home. MJD wants the ball and I believe Jacksonville runs St. Louis out of Florida. And if Jacksonville can't run, St. Louis's passing defense is putrid. Taking Jacksonville is a gamble but after all, I am a gambler. Seems to fit.
I, too, picked Jacksonville. It's slightly scary because the whole Rush thing might cause the Rams to wake up, but this seems like a square angle. New England is the other obvious pick, but I want to save them for later.
