Teddy Covers has hit the wall,,

Teddy Covers has hit the wall,, Man, as good a pro capper as there is. This goes along the lines as was discussed before - good cappers hitting the wall. NO ONE was better in baseball than Teddy, but it's been a real struggle for him and Tim T this football season, in college even more horrific for Tim than Teddy. At least we have Bowl season to look forward too, good luck fellas,,,
TEDDY covers football 2009 : 109-113-1 TEDDY covers Football THIS season : 55-78-4 ( no way to salvage it) it all cant be bad luck.. something is going on, thats a LARGE sample of football plays for 18 months he did do well in the last half of baseball season this year..
That's not a large sample.
its larger than 3 weeks and less than 2 years.. it depends what anyone defines as LARGE i guess in terms of the last 20 years its small ..i still think its significant.. but i suppose we can check back on it in 2 more years to be sure.. sorry just for the record i like teddy i think he is pretty bright
That's not a large sample.
You're right of course. But speaking of really small samples: Last year in March, I was innocently reading the Sportsmemo forum and read a post from "Genpro48" (someone I don't know) questioning the prominent ad for Teddy Covers "67% CBB Big Ticket Run". Turns out his "run" was 2 - 1 in his last 3 plays! And his last 10 CBB Big Ticket plays actually went 4-6. He was down -23.20 units in that month of March. Some run ... Trushel blamed it on some new hire in the office as if he wasn't ultimately responsible for catching such nonsense.
i will say those sports memo guys are the KINGS of positive spin...when teddy covers was struggling in baseball during aug or july , on the radio they they "previewed" football non stop at one point when they ran out of conferences, I thought they would go into HS football..but teddy broke out of losing streak and saved us all they still use tedy covers ENTIRE year of picks which include a huge run in baseball... and do similar things when anyone is on a cold streak .. i really wish they would just discuss it openly as it happens to everyone and tell us how to get get out of slumps. thats why i respect what fez did , it happens, be honest and people will respect you.. only the small $50 players who count w"s and L's and dont see the BIG PICTURE want to drop out
I think Teddy was up just under 100 units for the year, COUNTING ALL PLAYS Plenty of guys to throw stones out, and we pick out arguably the NO.1 guy in the world in 2010? C'mon now..........
Plenty of guys to throw stones out, and we pick out arguably the NO.1 guy in the world in 2010? C'mon now..........
There's a reason guys resort to selling picks. It isn't to help people.
Teddy's record last 2 years I started tracking him in late Feb 2009. He does have the best Sportsmemo overall record over this period, however 55.7% is NOT even close to the BEST in the world in 2010. For example, RAS's record is CBB: 58.50% for 2009-10, 64.00% for 2010-11 and CFB: 67.80% for 2009-10, 59.32% for 2010-11 Teddy's record, all sports: Feb-Dec, 2009: 378-342, 52.50%, +5.70u Jan-mid Nov, 2010: 433-345, 55.7%, +69.75u
Facts Sportsmemo I have Tim's auto-bill which covers all sports since mid august 2010. Tim is -3.4 units which includes the portland game tonight which he had. I do not have a breakdown for each sport but being down a few units in 3 months could be made up with a good weekend. MrTop
