Texans/bengals

Texans/bengals I am surprised their is not a disscussion thread on this game already, as I see this as a one sided affair. The Ravens gashed cincys rush d for over 200 yards, Dalton has missed practice because of flu symptoms, Houston has the number 2 rushing offense in football, Cincy beat only one team with a winning record all year ( Titans 9-7 ), Texans have the number two defense in all of football....I see foster and tate getting over 200 on the ground, and the texans d stopping their run game and making them one sided.... Im sure skeeter will pick this apart but am i missing something ?
Houston's quarterback situation is the only thing that comes to mind.
LOL. No, I like the Texans and heck I think you saved me that game vs. the Bucs earlier in the year. They ran for 140 vs. the Bengals last game but were behind so I'll buy they can go for more yards. I think Joel is right they're some apprehension about Yates and no doubt it is a big impact but he did throw for 300 on the Bengals. But I haven't seen him live on very many plays. He didn't have Johnson healthy or even available so one viewpoint might be they can make it through this game against the Bengals without a top QB. And the money is going that way so it looks like they might be good. But you don't want the good story you want me to pick it apart so here's my best shot. The Bengals have been pesky all year. That Titans win was very impressive. They were down at the half and dominated them in the second half and won an important game. The Texans needed a last play TD to beat them. They came back on the Browns to win a game under pressure. Although the Bills faded I actually think the fade started when the Bengals startled them with that comeback earlier in the season. They really could have beaten the 49ers. They only lost one game by a large margin vs. the Steelers. That evidence alone has me believing this game could be close. I don't know much about Reliant Stadium but I view their fans as not being overly confident. The place could be tight. I could be totally wrong about that. For those of you who watched HBO a few years ago they had the Bengals on and I was impressed by Mike Zimmer of the Bengals who is the DC. They have had a good run on D for the most part with him. Got a feeling he's seeing the same things you are and there will be adjustments if they're capable of doing it. They've obviously had success with in game adjustments. I don't think it is news that the Bengals aren't that great. What is news is how they outplay their ability.
Your right Skeeter and Joel about Yates, Im embarrassed I didnt check the injury report but the good news is he did practice wed and thurs and seems to be ok

of course ( I forgot to mention ) I got it @ -3 110....on Wednesday
Wow. Way to go Marvin. In typical fashion, you are mangling this game. Two blown challenges in the first half on pretty clear plays, and a TO used less than 2 minutes into the 3Q. Let's not forget about how 2 years ago in the WC round, Benson was destroying the NYJ through 2.5Q, then inexplicably, CIN stopped running the ball. And, Marvin made 2 idiotic FG calls in that game with a struggling kicker. I grew up in OH, I've been a CIN fan forever. I defended John Kitna. I defended Chad Ochocinco. I defended the Levi Jones draft pick. I loved Rudi Johnson. I hate Marvin Lewis.
