Factoring in home field it would indicate that the teams are almost even. It would seem one of these lines is off if that is the case. I have NO -4 +115 for the max. Regardless, is my logic off on this?

The teams (minny and dallas) will no longer be equal as the underdog Cowboys will have won outright, thus proving to have been the superior team, hence the justification for the shorter number.

Also Dallas is 3 points better on a neutral field

yes.. you also have to take into consideration that their line on new orleans may be slightly overweighted.
