Tim Trushel Taking Command in the Hilton

Tim Trushel Taking Command in the Hilton While the pretenders floundered week13, the Pros brought their A game this week. I believe I move into the top5 with a MNF win, 2 behind Tim, and this 85 game marathon moves into a mad 20 game dash for the finish......
Proving yet again the strength of the market vs stale lines. The market is indeed more efficient than I have ever seen it.
Lol I had to submit my plays 2 days before everyone else.....I forecasted some line moves well this week, like GB-3 when I submitted Thursday. I DID catch a break, balking on the Bucs.
Question My local mimics the CRIS line but never strays from a normal vig of -110. Consequently I can still get GB -3 -110 (CRIS is currently -3 -135). How much of an advantage does this give me over what is currently out there right now?
Nevermind the random off-topic post, but how come you felt the need to ask a question that you just answered yourself in the previous sentence?
A) It was late & I was tired. B) Brain cramp. C) All of the above. P.S. Didn't think it was that random since Fez referenced the GB line move.
I had to submit my plays 2 days before everyone else.....I forecasted some line moves well this week, like GB-3 when I submitted Thursday. I DID catch a break, balking on the Bucs.
ALL the lines you bet in the HILTON were stale by Thursday. GB was already -3 -117 or higher. The Hilton lines vs Pinny's Thursday lines: Hilton: Pinny: NYJ -3 NYJ -3 1/2 -111 Phi -4 1/2 Phi -5 1/2 +100 GB -3 GB -3 -117 Ari +6 Ari -4 -112 Was +10 Was +9 1/2 -105 As for TB on Thursday, Pinny had TB +6 -110. Betting stale sides in a contest is NOT the same as betting Pinny's current line. For example, Trushel may be leading the Hilton, but he was NOT + in his actual picks in TSM's NFL record going into last week. As I said, all this proves the accuracy of the sharp internet books' lines (Pinny, Cris, etc.).
old School you remind me of my jealous x-wife.

But your constant harping on this is getting old

But your constant harping on this is getting old
You are completely missing my point! The Hilton contest is NOT BS as the winner gets real money. The fact tha Fezzik (and others who use the same system, betting Pinny vs the stale Hilton's lines) is dominating these contests, PROVES that the current lines at the sharp internet books are MUCH better than stale lines anywhere. Conclusion: beat the closing Pinny line and/or bet stale lines at another book. Another conclusion: almost all handicappers overestimate their advantage and underestimate the sharpness of the best internet book' lines. Fezzik's claim that shopping and timing are more important than handicapping is proven out yet again. Fezzik is the true realist, the true sharp! However, if you want advice on beating the CURRENT sharp lines this system is of no value. The real question is whether ANYONE can beat Pinny's line over thousands of bets! And the line gets tighter every year! That's why Fezzik, the true sharp, is turning to totals (and, of course, continuing to bet stale lines at other books).
