Tim Trushel Taking Command in the Hilton
The real question is whether ANYONE can beat Pinny's line over thousands of bets! And the line gets tighter every year! That's why Fezzik, the true sharp, is turning to totals (and, of course, continuing to bet stale lines at other books).
no question there are pros who can not only beat pinny's line but destroy it. anyone who denys this is either extremely naive or plain wrong. guys that try and line shop and use pinny as a guide are going to have a very difficult time winning as that isn't a logical pinny function anymore.

well pinnacles limits are very high on gameday more than anybody elses where you have reduced vig - no doubt they dont have near the volume anymore but their numbers are prob still the best guide out there i'd imagine.. pinnacles openers over the years have been a candy store though
The fact tha Fezzik (and others who use the same system, betting Pinny vs the stale Hilton's lines) is dominating these contests, PROVES that the current lines at the sharp internet books are MUCH better than stale lines anywhere. Conclusion: beat the closing Pinny line and/or bet stale
if it's that easy, why isnt everyone doing it?
Exactly, as usual, Goose is right on the money. 2009 is way different from 2002-2006 as far as pinny being the barometer.
so who is?
Philly was -5 all week, closed -4.5 The market (and Dan Gordon I hear!!) did not get the memo, that ATL is the worst team in the NFL right now.
no chance they're worse than cleveland.
so who is?
there isn't one. as i said before, the ones that succeed the most are the ones that know how originate and manage their bet sizing. learning how to originate is not a easy thing and for good reason, not many are willing to share what they've learned.
so who is?
Nobody really. I am not saying I ignore them, it's just they are not as valuable of a guide as it once was.
I see that Trushel is now hitting 54.4% in the NFL, better on units. He is hitting an excellent 58.5% in CFB, better in units. He won over $63,000 in baseball! Both Trushel and Fezzik have improved over the last 3 years IMO. I know that statement will anger jon, but betting/handicapping is purely results based. A tip of the hat from OS to both Fezzik and Trushel!
