I eliminated 8 that had less than 3 wins last week, resulting in the remaining 14 contestants picks summarized below. This week is more interesting than most, BUT THE SAMPLE SIZE IS SMALL. Why would you eliminate those 8? Because they had an off week, and you think that makes them [I]less[/I] likely to do well [I]this[/I] week?

It's more of a what have you done for me lately. Seldom do the leaders midseason end up where they are now. I know last week was a wipeout for many and it's my call to only include those that had a better hadicapping experience LW. If they do better this week then they are in next weeks tabulations, or they keep sliding downhill & out of sight. Part of my system is not to go against an obvious consensus of the "current" best in this contest, which is all i use it for. Depending on the part of the season we are in i have about 8 other things i follow culled out over the years that add or subtract a play. It's hokey, but it keeps me honest and from wandering to far astray. I don't have and never will have near the accumen of the likes of Fezzik for example, or anyone that actually makes a living out of this & is totally involved 24/7. I am a game player and try to beat the system within my time constraints with the help of lessons learned over the past 15 yrs. or so. GL

49r - system, or any system i like it, a system is a system. i agree, especially for the fellow who likes to wager, but has kids to feed, a wife to support, plus puts in 50 hrs a week of work and is there for every childs sporting event - i mean "there" you know- without looking at phone updating scores- lol. personally - a true gamblers life does not look THAT attractive to me. but an extra 1000 -or whatever your goal is - is sure fun to have tucked away in a can. oh-thats write- you can loose to!! ANYWAY, thats my 2 shakes gl to all that like to play at any level i like carolina today

Carolina: Probably have a good shot at it with Fezz, 7/0 Hilton,but minus 11 in differential power rating. It's a pass for me. These two have played totally different competition, NO 10/1 ats @ home, carolina 6/10 ats on the road and have been traveling too much. Just can't play Carolina against today's highest rated team at home, better QB,better receivers,allows only 267 yds @ home with better Turnover ratio..PASS..(passing for me is a toughy, but for better or worse, it's a lesson learned & i will not go against Fezz but can't pull the trigger on carolina either.
