I think Belichek figures if Brady gets hurt, you can lose that game and bring someone in. I'm a bit surprised they didn't go after Garcia- would think he'd make a great backup for 2-3 years and likely wouldnt mind playing for a winner.

Bilicheat probably has something up his sleeve. I think they made their defense weaker by trading away Seymour. Plus if no new player agreement is reached Oak gets to keep him as a restricted free agent for at least one more year.
