Uh-Oh Netto , Wind Chill 7 degrees in Pittsburgh!!

FEZZ what do you make NE home to Pitt if played now?
Kenny Anderson won the Ice Bowl...convincingly. Since NYC and Boston are actually 2 of the 3 windiest cities in USA and in fact 1 or both are actually "windier" than Chicago the northeast sees these temperatures as much as Pittsburgh. However, Skittles can't be used to it. I was praying for 10 degrees last week in Foxborough and when I saw Skittles in short sleeves pre-game I feared it was a bad sign for Pats backers. On Sunday pre-game if Skittles has long sleeves and a glove on we know then that The Hawk already got into his head and Pittsburgh will romp. Sincerely, Al Roker ps...the NYJ just won the 2nd biggest game in franchise history. I don't care how much they love and want to win for Rex, how good the players are, how good the NYJ coaching staff is, even with the loss to Colts in AFC title game last year aren't they do for somewhat of a let-down? Also the Pats played 1 of their 2 worst games of the year and never touched Sanchez and got not TO's...can this happen again for 2nd week in a row?
Ken Anderson crushed in the Freezer Bowl. Not sure what you are getting at there.
John - accept the fact you are going to get reemed on this game this weekend........ just fucking with you but the jets are in a real bad spot in this game - would not touch them with a barge pole
Good...my under 40 is a freakin' monster Fez...Guess my 9 years in the Marines as a meteorologist did come in handy... And a cold game where the elements are at play favors the team which is great on defense, (Pitt has an edge) can run the ball (about even), and encourages more conservative play calling (favors the team getting the points)...It also favors the team who is better on special teams as field position is so crucial (undeniable Jets Edge). The Jets ran for 4 yards a carry and over 100 yards last time when they played in snow flurries... I'm not sure if you have ever lived in Manhattan, but NYC is not exactly tropical in the winter time... You being the master NFL guy should understand the counterintuitive value created by the perception of bad weather. When/if it gets to 4.5, play back on the Jets...I think the game closes just like you said on Monday, Pitt -3.5...
Not knocking your play here although I am on Pitt. But, you keep mentioning how well the Jets ran the ball against Pitt but why no mention of Pitt running for 147 yards at 5.9ypr, which is much more impressive. Just curious.

Either way, after this game is played, irrespective of the result, we will all feel as if it was obvious and we "should've known that was going to happen"...

Just curious.
I never said Pitt wouldn't be able to move the ball against the Jets, although this Jets defensive unit has been playing considerably better and was already ranked 6th against the run. My point is more that the Jets would be able to move the ball against Pitt, which I strongly believe they will...
Bad weather favors the home team, so says my proprietary database.
I would have to see how you set up the query of that database and what parameters were used to filter that out...I would obviously respect your desire to keep that proprietary, but it's hard to respond without knowing the metrics behind the search...
I missed that one. I thought Fezz was joking when he said "so says my proprietary database". Respect your stuff Netto but am curious about one thing. You say your point was that the Jets can move the ball against Pitt but doesn't that bode well for points. When teams can rush against an opponent it usually means scoring and thus an over.
