UNC/VaTech Total Tonight I handicap CFB totals in a number of different ways but primarily using comparisons with how offenses play verses defenses in previous games. Tonight UNC has averaged 23 ppg verses teams that average allowing about 28. They average 3.6 ypc verses teams that allow 4.2 and they average 5.8 ypp verses teams that allow 6.7.
As bad as they are moving the ball and scoring, they do have a solid defense that allows just 2.8 ypc. Certainly the Hokies have had a superior defense this year with just 19 ppg verses teams that score 29 ppg. And they have allowed 4.8 ypp verses teams that average 5.7 ypp.
All in all I am seeing a low scoring affair tonight.
