I was at this game and texted ahearnb after 8 minutes into the game screaming Reno and over for the second half. It was completely obvious to me that UNLV was unable to stop Reno (same thing for final 3 quarters last year) and those were the obvious plays. When he responded back to me that Fezzik posted the Under 30.5 play for the second half, I about lost my mind trying to figure out why. I know I'm square as can be, but this was (in my eyes) the play of the year. Reno had yet to see a 4th down and couldn't stop UNLV in the process.
All of this comes down to one simple question.
Was this picked 100% based on the weather advisory?
(I'd like to add that I got severe wind burn from that game.)
