Very Bad End of October for me, sorry guys
Have to join the pity party here.
+1 Not much more to add.
No need to apologize... It's nice to have someone like you to share your thoughts regularly... THE SHRINK
Fezzik: I have been following you since before Larry Grossman and the Stardust contests. We are all adults, in one form or another, and have been here before..we just keep learning after these humbling experiences. There is a tomorrow even though it's harder to get up for the next day after a wipe out. If i have ever learned anything over the years it is bankroll management..there is always most of it left for payback at the next opportunity, because we know from experience, no matter how good we feel, there is always an armageddon lurking around the corner..besides i got lucky and picked off 7 winners (7/0) the last few midweeks..THANK YOU & for this new "club" of good people & good luck with the contests.
I went broke.. Not your fault man. Totally mine. I put in my whole bankroll evenly over your totals and Oregon St. thinking "there is no way all of them miss". Guys remember and bet small, use bankroll management. This one will hurt my life a little. Hopefully lesson learned. I hope things turn around for you Fezz. GL
Unless you're setting up to exit (because you really don't want to bet anymore), you simply can't do this. When you play frequently, it's inevitable that you will run into an extended run of bad results and overbetting will stop you out of the market, EVEN WHEN YOU HAVE AN EDGE. Keep records and move the size your wagers in concert with your results. If you're playing with only a few thousand and have a terrible week, you have to be willing to drop $100 bets to $50, or whatever. Sorry, definitely not tryting to feed you the money-management pill. But keeping wager size proper relative to your bankroll is fundamental.
I feel your pain. I'm probably down now slightly or around even for the season. October was a disaster. For me mainly College was a nightmare. Hopefully things turn for all of us. Good Luck everyone!!!!!!! :)

Lost 23 units yesterday, went 1-11 in multi-weight bets. As much as it hurt, It was just the opposite last Saturday. Hard for me to believe I'm just slightly down on the year after yesterday. It was the first time I actually accepted the "have a drink and move on" concept after a losing day.
common sense and money management is essential to winning picking winners is only part of the battle You must be thinking "long term " when you try to make quick big scores over a short period of time betting sports you end up in hot water. Slow and steady wins the race.
there have been plenty of times i played games with double digits eges for hours at a time and stil lost. these games, if they have any edge at all are almost always 1-2% tops. occasional you find the gem but that's far to the exception. losing is part of this sortid business of gambling n te quicker you can accept a bad session n move on to look for better opportunities the more you'll succeed. as for money management, remember that underbetting ur br is as bads as overbetting it.
Worst season for me that I ever had in over 10 years. Yesterday not good.

Also, it is November and the edges will only get smaller in football IMO. Put the Big Bertha away and get the 3 wood out fellas.
As college basketball season gets under way, there will be a plethora of opportunities out there.
