Very unlucky week for me, but also a clear erosion in my edge here in October....... Frankly I think the ball bounced well for me Weeks 0-1, and badly since then. However, I'm not blind to the fact that I had two higher rated plays this week that closed against me: Ark St + 6(Closes 6.6) and USC -9.5 (Closes 9.3) THAT is a sure sign my college edge has dwindled to nothing. One lemon vs. the market is ok, two is unacceptable. I attribute a lot of it to trying to handicap 1. NFL sides 2. NFL totals 3. College Sides 4. College Totals It's clear to me I'm overwhelmed, and I likley will scale way back on college plays going forward (not to mention the entire market has gotten much tougher, it's October, not September). I will say bets like Vandy 1h UND 23.5, and OR st team total UN 28.5 were fine bets.........simple math on those, they just didn't pan out this week. Sorry for the bad week, one back door Ark St score would have been a 10.5 unit swing (+5, instead of -5.5) but I still would have had the wrong side.......
Stuff definitely getting tighter. Are you choosing to focus more on the NFL because you think it is easier than college going forward, or b/c you are already committed to it with contests etc?
Much tighter this week and going to get worse for a while Fez...But I know that you will find a way..Thx..
For the first time in about 15 years, I think the real estate market is looking more attractive than the sports betting market. It's gotten a lot more attractive while the sports market has become virtually edge free except right at the openers and the first week or two of the season.

October is still very beatable in CFB IMO... Time/schedule management is the REAL question. The edge in CFB is way higher. Simple to determine because there are 10,000 teams in CFB vs 32 or whatever in the NFL. LIMITS on sides, they take 20k vs 100k...we all know that. It is like comparing CBB to the NBA. So it boils down to where are the larger edges, and where does anyone want to focus and exploit. ....CBB totals and golf matchups...way easy. I am not slamming Fezzik here at all. I am just saying...
also... October IMO is much easier to beat than September because we are speculating in Sept on preseason jargon (returning starters, etc). November however, is a different animal.
Dude, agree with you. Some cappers I follow at another forum are kicking butt the last two weeks as well as for the year to date - I can't tail them because they are betting the openers at CRIS on Sunday afternoon and I can't get their numbers (most post what they played early Sunday night and yes, they could be BS but I don't think so based on the dialog in their threads over the course of the week). One guy who went 11-2 last week and is up 22 units before today had the following card today: Buffalo +9' Temple -2' Navy +10 Ole Miss -2' GA -2' ND -1 kent St +3 -20 (yes, +3 - 6 point line move and he lost it) great numbers and had solid day. Fez like ability on the line moves. He was betting totals fairly heavy but had none this week and his overall volume is decreasing. I guess his bettting the lower limits at CRIS indicates he's not a professional who bets 5 dimes a game but his writeups are excellent, best I've ever read - knows every detail of the teams/games he's on or not on. He did say he's moving off betting totals, which surprises me. Anyway, the obvious key is to originate and hit the openers that are off. And be content with the lower limits.
Hawaii game pending..... CFB SIDES vs the CLOSING line at CRIS are: 27-15 ATS. Totals are much easier beat, 20k(sides) vs 5k(totals) limits.
ya, seems to be universal opinion and don't know why this guy is starting to lay off totals - think it has something to do with the change to Monday morning openers and might be evaluating the impact. But he knows his CF as good as anyone I've listened to/seen in my years - just agreeing with your opinion it can still be beat (this guy does nothing but CF). How's the Ryder treating you so far?
things always look dark when losing. I got murdered today. no point overreacting or deciding this is too hard. I like my Yankees bet idea still, it didnt work ( lost 7-6) yankees were 1-16 with RISP. seems to be a broken record for me this year with tough losses. also had UNLV +12 1st half. that was a kick to the head too
