Vikings Dunno what kind of numbers they're putting up on Viking futures, but I'd be looking to be a seller. LY this was a very good football team done in by horrendous QB play. I'm not so sure that won't be the case once again. Favre's looked pretty good in exhibition, but gut feeling says he and the Vikings are going to end up wishing he'd stayed retired. Kinda reminds me of that movie "Everybody's All American", except Favre's wife isn't as hot.

Really? I think Deanna Favre is quite hot....especially for her age and having kids.

After Favre's cheap shot block last game, I'm sure many others will wish he had stayed retired. What is a 20 year vet doing going for the knees from the blindside?

I thought he looked pretty good - saw on Yahoo where an analyst said he is slower than last year. But I think he looked good - I think with the powerful running game they have, and good defense for field position, that he will help them be a better team. He knows where to go with the ball and I don't think he'll be the gunslinger he was since the rest of the team is so good - Harvin will help and Berriman getting better. Just a gut but I think MINN is going to be a very tough out this year - I think 10-6 is very probable though i won't bet it that way either. GL

There OLine isn"t as strong as last year they lost all pro Matt Birk and have 2nd year guy from Oklahoma at Right Tackle.

Rough, I'm a lifelong SD fan and before LT they never seemed to have an All Pro OLmen - LT comes along and they get several. You never know but I think their running game will excel again this year as long as Hutchinson stays healthy. I think the NFC East is going to weaken this year with TO, Burress, Haynesworth gone and Minn and GB will have very good years. Barring serious injury I really think Minn makes a SB run. But all that being said, i will not bet them Over.

I placed a 19 weight wager about a month ago on Minn -2.5 week 1 vs. Cleveland. Obv, I'm looking to bet CLE, would I be well-advised to wait a bit?
