W. Virginia @ Connecticut

W. Virginia @ Connecticut ok. new day - opportunity for redemption. does anyone have any leans on this one? don't be afraid to speak up PK -:)

If I was to play on this game I would take 105 West Virginia -6.5. West Virginia is coming off their most disappointing game of the season and needs to win this game to stay in the Big East race. They did face a solid underrated defense in Syracuse last week and I think they will be able to move the ball against Conn. Also with Conn. QB situation their passing attack looked horrible last week with both QBs combining for 87 yards. I know both QBs will have more reps at practice this week but I do not have faith in either Frazier or Box and they will probably both see significant time in this game unless Box stands out early. I see them trying to control the ball with Toddman (RB) but I do not think the young defense of UConn will be able to stop WV enough and I think WV pulls away towards the end and should be a good cover. Not a strong play here as you have the classic Home Dog on national TV when its the only game out there, a classic spot for the upset but I would feel much more comfortable betting on a WV team coming off a loss versus a UConn team that has significant weaknesses on both sides of the ball. Slight lean towards the OVER 45 as well. Those are my thoughts. Also my picks went 1-4 last week so take that for what it is worth.

Thanks bluehorseshoe! That's exactly what I was going to do, WV -6.5 and OV 45.5 - separate...hopefully, not much more that....I probably shouldn't wait too long. But, it's my birthday - throw me a bone! - and opinions are appreciated. If the majority feel this is a bad play, I may just lay off it today :)
