I see the owner giving him the rest of the season. I do think they have reached some agreement that Phillips will resign after the season. Jones will come out with some ultra-positive statement that these are the Cowboys and Cowboys never quit. We have a good team and Phillips is my coach, etc, etc, etc. But...behind the scenes they will have a new coach next season.

coach jones a guy like jones is better off coaching the team himself. everything goes thru him anyway!

Now Jones has the coach in he's wanted all along in Garrett. He's the one who has been waiting in the wings since Wade took over. I hope that Wade comes back to the Chargers as he's still a good coach and the Chargers can use him down the stretch.
