WARNING TO ALL re: OFFSHORE BOOKS

WARNING TO ALL re: OFFSHORE BOOKS I don't believe the offhshore world is stable. You should be very careful choosing where you put money in this environment. Anthony is carefully checking the safest and best books to look to invest money. If the book isn't on his "best bet" list, be sure to go to sportsbookreview.com and look into how well rated a book is. A good rule of thumb: B to A books may well be good, but even A rated books have failed. BE CAREFUL, and don't even think of putting a big investment in any one book! Any book rated C .......your money is at risk......you have a junk bond type investment.......proceed with great caution Any book rated D to F........Some gamblers roll the dice due to promotions/etc. No reason for you to do so. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Even "best bet" books have some risk. Keep balances low, and don't ever fund a book with money you cannot afford to lose. Having said that, CRIS and OLympic are likely as safe as they come, as is Pinnacle for NON US. And I don't see how MB could get in trouble, as it is an exchange.
Don't believe the brochures you will get in the mail this time of year from Touts and sportbooks. Im getting a lot of junk mail from Oddsmaker.com Throw it in the garbage
YES! Be real careful! UNCLE SAM can go after these operations anytime. ask the BET ON SPORTS customers. over four years. case still not settled

i would imagine this is nothing new n is very good advice imho. although, depending on the bonus i might gamble with a d or f book understand you might get stiffed.
is something that you normally believe to be or has something changed recently to send up red flags
I read it as this was something geared towards those new to the site and offshore betting.
Ever since my betmil.com experience I have kept books on a very short rope. If you are gonna have some of your $$ dormant for a while, you should consider pulling some out.
......................be careful
i've been reluctant for more than a year. jerked greek for all but $10 in feb 2008, not long after i lost my pinnacle credit agent. speaking as an economist, i see two risks at the offshores--political (us--ueaga) and credit ( the book just absconds). i've even hemmed and hawed , even now, about MB--for political and credit risk too. political obvious, and i know they're an exchange, so they don't really lose----but they do have a lot of cash deposits---pleanty of guys have taken off before.
