Week 17 NFL Hilton Picks and tout commentary For those who are interested:

4) Cowboys -3
5) Titans -4( now -6 and -6.5 in a few places and climbing fast).
I totally blew this years Hilton Contest - I had an 0-5 week, TWO 1-4's and a 1-3-1. can't get any coin with these meltdowns.
The 1st time I entered this contest I was in the money by week 15 with two weeks ago. Went 3-2, 3-2 and finished # 32 out of over 700 contestants in 2006. One of those losses was the DEN/CIN game when CIN to tie the game and OT it they missed the extra point and thus I lost my chance at a push(worth a critical 1/2 pt. for the Contest) that would have gotten me coin. Another tough beat in week 17 when MIA decided NOT to kick chip shot FG and take a FREAKIN' PENALTY and let the other team take over after a 4th DOWN KNEEL-DOWN!!!
But that comes with the territory.
Since 2006 I have regressed terribly and vow to correct this for 2010. Will have the max. TWO entries next time and one will be a total Dog ticket. No matter who/what/where/why that 2nd ticket will have Dogs. I don't care if the 5th dog is winless STL + 21 over a romper-stomper INDY who declares to go unbeaten, I am selecting the Dog. STL could be fielding an emergency scrub team because the plane crashed/whatever - the Dog will be selected.
Good luck to everyone left in the running in this years' contest. I can't just root for Fezz alone, thus alienating the other contestants, but if Fezz does win it and becomes the FIRST one EVER to win this two years back-to-back I will be happy for him. Fezz has paid his dues, takes far too much flak that I would never even begin to tolerate, and I hope he can make it as a tout if that is what he wants to be. I never understood the hate that the wanna-be's spew forth on forums because someone wants to be a tout. OK so someone makes coin selling picks. The market will decide if s/he can do this: if s/he sells winners more than losers, and by a substantial margin, s/he will earn coin thus deserving the coin. If s/he cannot sell enough winners s/he will be out of business within two seasons, and back to selling pencils or whetever they were doing before they decided to become a tout.
Takes nads to want to become a tout, and who really cares if they do? Either buy their picks or do not buy them.
Happy Holidays
