Week 2 College

Old School, I never came across a set of power ratings that did better than 50/50. Any you recommend?
I make Boise '40' in this game BUT they are @ FRESNO next week REALLY bad spot. But every Mia OH game likely will be a bad spot for them. I did lay 35 on the game, but I like it, don't love it. The field is still blue after all.
I didn't see a single 35.5 across the board at the time of this post? I see all 36's and 36.5's. Where did you play it at?
Shirley, you can't be serious.... 09/07 17:46 +35½ -105 / -35½ -10509/07 22:40 +35½ -101 / -35½ -10909/08 03:25 +35½ +106 / -35½ -117 Check sbrodds.com. How many times does OS need to post that he gets his lines from Pinnacle and is up 89 units over the last 2 years?! LOL, please don't make him say it again!
Agree 100%. A potential flat spot for Boise. However, they may want to work on their offense, and Miami Ohio is super soft on defense. Also, Boise has to put up some huge wins to move up in the polls.

BTW, I beat the closing Pinny line on my releases by an average of .88 in week #1. I hope to do better in week #2. I made a serious mistake in releasing all the dogs at the same time. It "only" cost us one unit, but one unit a week can add up. I was 5-6 in games where I beat the closing line; 3-3 in games where I lost to the closing line; 5-1 where I tied the closing line. Of course, my younger partner bet most of Fezzik's releases, some of which we kept, and some of which we laid off at better numbers. Hit a middle on UCLA. BTW, Dr Bob has started out red-hot. 1-0 on his release of Mississippi. 3-0 on his opinions: Missouri, Cincinnati, and UCLA under. The UCLA total was close only because of a blocked FG returned for a TD. Missouri and Cincinnati simple DESTROYED the lines! IMO, Bob may have a monster year.

The fact remains that at his time of post (around midnight central time, if I remember correctly) I checked pinny, the greek, and several others and not one single place had -35.5 -117. The line you copied and pasted above suspiciously doesn't have the time stamp on that last number either...how odd. I was simply wondering: A) Did you play this at that line at Pinny and it moved before he could get the post up here. B) With the current number does he feel much diffence in the play, I would doubt there would be much between 35.5 and 36, but just making sure. Good luck with your plays ahearnb.
REALLY bad spot. But every Mia OH game likely will be a bad spot for them. I did lay 35 on the game, but I like it, don't love it. The field is still blue after all.
This is partially why I think a 1H play on Boise might be the route to take. Thoughts?
