Week 2 Thoughts

Week 2 Thoughts Great first week, looking to continue the roll. Already got down on: Oregon -10 and some at -10.5 A Big 10 team at Autzen? They'll get eaten alive. Am thinking the Ducks will rally around whomever replaces Blount and really look to avenge their terrible performance last week. They really wanted that game last week, and I expect them to come out with some fury in this one. Tennessee -8 Revenge from what was a dismal 2nd Half performance last year. UCLA's QB situation remains as horrid as it was last year. Too much to ask of the Bruins to go into this kind of environment with their kind of offense and expect to get a win. Waiting on: S. Carolina +7 Hoping to see the hook and 8's perhaps. Georgia's premiere LT Trinton Sturdivant got hurt again in the first game of the season. Matt Stafford had a tough time without his presence. Can't imagine what Cox will have to deal with. S.Carolina has some quality pass rushers in Cliff Matthews and Eric Norwood. The Cocks definitely have a defense that I'm comfortable backing on the road in the SEC. Miami OH +36.5 Played terribly against Kentucky in Week 1. In fact, they got shut out in their home opener. They were thoroughly embarrassed by that performance. Boise, meanwhile, is on top of the world, with everyone telling them that they're path to an undefeated season is virtually clear. Liking the Red Hawks, just waiting for just a few more ticks upward. Houston +15 Again, similar reasoning to Miami OH, looking to fade the Cowboys off their big win. Georgia clearly didn't give them their best shot, as Cox was very subpar. Houston has a capable offense.
I cannot agree with your selection of Oregon more -- they will bury their B10 foe here. While I know that the -10 was easily available last night, kind of tough to watch you post it now when -11.5 is the current number. I am all for taking credit for the actual line received -- you just may want to post it a bit sooner to save your credibility. The 10 was gone long ago. BTW -- I owe it to O.S. for nailing this last night. I liked the side from my own handicap, but took his advice to nail it early. I know -- -9.5 was out there, but I am satisfied with my -10 at this point.
Miami OH was neutral last week, fwiw.
Miami OH was neutral last week, fwiw.
Correct. It was in Ohio, though.

I'm more interested in the reasoning behind plays. I'm looking to spur discussion. Not interested in having a good message board record. I'm only worried about making money.
fading Boise at home isnt a great idea. and this team is going to need all the "style points" they can muster up to impress the pollsters.

In my mind, it is only about the right side at the right number, with a strong lean towards the right number.
